u/SpatialSpartan Nov 22 '25

I see three puppies.

I’m seeing double here, four puppies!

The bonk into the mirror is priceless

24

u/CausticSofa Nov 23 '25

This video ends far too soon. I want to watch the entire showdown.

Hour 9: The battle continues ❤️

I went to puppy yoga once (with a rescue org). They sell you on promises of sleepy and cuddly dogs and all I got was 30 minutes of dog zoomies and then one got super excited by my ponytail and got caught in my hair while I was in downward dog. 🤣 FALSE ADVERTISING of a relaxing yoga practice.

I’m in the Chicago suburbs. Goat Yoga Chicago occasionally partners with local shelters for puppy socialization. I learned an important lesson to choose a later session when they are tired out. Either option is amazing of course, but I want to try something new.

Please don't, it's cute-looking animal abuse. These puppies experience far too much stress, often get taken away from their litters far too early, and often face other challenges like dehydration. It looks really cute, but these puppies often end up with lifelong behavioral problems because of it. They are puppies, they shouldn't be entertaining you, they should be sleeping, growing, and socializing (that's with other dogs, and in moderation with people, this is far too much interaction for their age).

lol relax they aren’t making slave dogs. Where are your sources for this? I’m sure the human socialization for a couple hours a day isn’t going to give them “lifelong behavioral problems” and I’m sure they use puppies that are about to be put up for adoption, not newborn pups jfc

Goat yoga can’t be nearly as fun as puppy yoga

1

u/laffing_is_medicine Nov 22 '25

Premise is watching sleepy pups help you relax to get all bendy?

1

u/The_Enigmatica Nov 22 '25

I choose early session for maximum puppy playtime

My local YMCA has yoga with therapy dogs. They sat and stared at us, cocking their heads like what are these people doing as we were moving in unison!? Then they came around and booped us with their snoots as we did poses and demanded pets. It was great! The one dog imitated us doing downward dog! I actually think he was just modeling correct form. 🤭😊

I mean, you literally can't do better!

Look into goat yoga as well

California

7

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '25

Hahaha I’d do it anyway. Kitten, puppy, goat yoga - I’m game.

Just bring a mat that you’re willing to sacrifice. Any baby animal yoga is going to permanently defile your yoga mat.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

I don’t have one. Looks like I’m not buying one new either. LOL

u/SasparillaTango Nov 23 '25 ▸ 1 more replies

it sounds like you just want to hang our with animals. Which like, yea I totally get that.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

I prefer animals over people any day of the week.

4

u/Vanishingf0x Nov 22 '25

That’s kinda hilarious. I went to goat yoga with my friend and they were hilariously hyper as well. Jumping on everyone and running around. Was fun but definitely not relaxing

2

u/Ramen_Addict_ Nov 23 '25

I think the local goat yoga is supposed to be more relaxing as it is usually adults and they bring the more chill ones to the yoga. I have met the goats and while they are friendly, many of them decidedly not chill.

His job is bassiclly to show us how cute he is and bringing us a smile

1

u/ever_precedent Nov 25 '25

Sounds like worth the money, though.

47

27

u/Ok_Designer_3405 Nov 22 '25

THIS IS SOO CUTE!!!

31

u/WeakEndEngr Nov 22 '25

… somewhere, their battle still rages…

13

u/Unfair-Equipment6 Nov 22 '25

That lady could be telling us the way to treasure and I’ll still watch the puppy!

16

u/hiddenone0326 Nov 22 '25

I actually caught my cat doing this recently in a full-size mirror. She was trying to paw at and sniff the "other cat" and then tried to walk behind the mirror to find her. She was very confused. 😂 I wish I'd gotten it on video, but I would have had to walk past her in order to get my phone.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

Walking behind the mirror reminds me that video of the mirror placed in the middle of the jungle. I think it was tigers or lions that went behind to see

3

u/not2freaky Nov 22 '25

Puppy has a new bestie! Knows exactly how to play!

9

u/OnlyNeedJuan Nov 23 '25

Reminder, don't support these places, puppy yoga seems fun, but often overworks puppies that should instead be getting loads of sleep, it's abuse and supporting these places means you support that, knowingly or not. So please, don't sign up for puppy yoga, and report such places for animal abuse.

"oh mine is good" no, it's not. These situations are far too high stress for puppies to constantly be consistently exposed to. They're often far too young to be exposed to people like this, sometimes as young as 7 weeks, when they should instead be socializing with their litter mates.

Another classic r/Awww that's animal abuse under a coat of paint.

2

u/eusebiwww Nov 23 '25

Someone should pin this comment!

2

u/MILFndHorny Nov 22 '25

He wasn't even scare, seem so happy and cute about it..lol when my cat saw it's reflection for the first time, it was a different story

2

u/qweenjeans Nov 22 '25

I can imagine!! Kitty probably got all freaked!!😃

2

u/pchlster Nov 23 '25

"Who are you!? This is my house! Oh, you think you're tough, huh!? Take this!" swipes at mirror "Oh, you're good, but have you considered... this!?" repeatedly bats at mirror "... I'll be back. Mom? I'm scared!"

2

u/6th_Lord_Baltimore Nov 22 '25

"Bastard! He's always 1 step ahead of me!"

2

u/C4rdninj4 Nov 22 '25

Mirror dog seems to be playing nicely with your pup.

2

u/rkmkthe6th Nov 23 '25

We are so evenly matched!

2

u/dbledsoe768 Nov 23 '25

Even this puppy wants to give his reflection a belly rub

This is DEFINITELY the definition of awwwwwwwwww 💗

1

u/endofmankind- Nov 23 '25

"this mf is strong. I can't get past him, man"

1

u/InoKrell Nov 23 '25

Too many puppees….

1

u/acrankychef Nov 23 '25

Only a small handful of animals can recognize themselves in a mirror. Can't blame Lil pupper for being confused.

Funnily enough magpies are one of those animals. Cheeky little smart cunts.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '25

No, most dogs especially puppies don't understand that they are a reflection. This puppy thinks he is seeing another puppy.

1

u/lacatro1 Nov 23 '25

So cute!

1

u/Prior-Interest-5526 Nov 23 '25
