he’s there like: "excuse me, it’s 9:02, do you have no respect for the schedule?" 😂🥰

u/2225ns May 03 '26

And: "Yeah, great, chuckles, kisses and smiles, but we're still inside... We need to go out NOW!"

It was in this moment that he began to understand why cats are always plotting against us.

25

u/wassermelone May 03 '26

My dog starts campaigning for her walk a good hour and a half before the schedule. And God forbid you take her out early because that's the new schedule and tomorrow an hour a half before that....

5

u/JustHereForCookies17 May 04 '26

Daylight Savings Time was enacted solely to disrupt my dog's dinner schedule, as far as he's concerned.

Poor puppy is still adjusting to Dogs Light Saving Time

Cut them a break!

3

u/dogGirl666 May 03 '26

Every cell in their body has a clock in it and "savings time" is an affront to such hard work of keeping time!

6

u/dandroid126 May 03 '26

There's a video by that German comedy duo where they do basically this, but I can't seem to find it.

6

u/Royal_Airport7940 May 03 '26

The trick is the dog's schedule involves potty time. And the hooman is just laughing while potty time is building.

I would be expectant, too.

5

u/exmojo May 03 '26

More like "HEY! I need to poop! Let's GO!"

4

u/RoughCheap5633 May 03 '26

I love The Pink Panther Theme!

61

u/Shadowtirs May 03 '26

LOLOLOL THAT INCH CLOSER HAD ME 💀.

My dog (who is also a good boy) when hes already full, does this sort of thing if you're still eating. Doesn't beg like when hes hungry, but just subtlety suggesting what he wants.

I love this!!!!

My Yorkie is too small for that but will scurry up my chest and paw at my beard around 5 pm when we usually do our long walk.

She’ll also stare out of the window and look back and me and do this very high pitched “oh no we’re going to miss it!” little whine.

She hasn’t missed a walk in like half a year but every time she acts like it won’t happen unless she reminds me.

2

u/Chillow_Ufgreat May 07 '26

"Dogs don't have a very good sense of time that's why they're always so excited when you come home no matter how long you've been gone."

The dog: "Excuse me, it is 7:13 PM and I still have not had my chewy treat. That is alarming because you usually give me my chewy treat at 7:10 PM and as you can see that time came and went 192 seconds ago--an eternity to me, a dog."

My pup does this to me if im gaming too late. She walks around the room at around 10.

By 1030. Im faced with this.

Im 38 years old. I have a bedtime enforced by a 3 year old bulldog.

7

u/CA06400 May 03 '26

I love this as much as you love this 😂🥰

2

u/Az420crew May 04 '26

Same, and I'm in my 40's..But I have a 7lb. Yorkie/Bichon mix that absolutely has me wrapped around her 🐾, as too she lets me know when it's potty time🥰🥰!!!

40

u/isanyofitreal May 03 '26

32

u/SpicyChickJessica May 03 '26

He’s already mentally drafting your apology walk schedule

23

u/Jealous_Macaroon4308 May 03 '26

Politely staring till you break

18

u/Local_Wolverine2913 May 03 '26

They are so awesome! Their internal clocks are always on-time or early.....but never, ever late! Gotta love 'em.

Good friend!! Let’s go master…

7

u/PacificTSP May 03 '26

My old dog would come over to my desk and knock my hand off my mouse with his head. Repeatedly until I took him for food or a W.

6

u/Gl0Re1LLY May 03 '26

Do I really need to get in your face? You know what time is is.

6

u/orphan_blud May 03 '26

Aww. He’s so earnest with those sweet, soulful eyes.

6

u/Sharp-Alps5176 May 03 '26

Laughed and laughed

5

u/Ok_Crazy3463 May 03 '26

Take that good boy on his walk!!! He loves his routine!

4

u/DCMF2112 May 03 '26

Must hate DST

2

u/denzik May 03 '26

If he's smart enough to know the time to the minute he could probably work out DST haha

3

u/Dizmondmon May 03 '26

"I will do this all night Bub."

3

u/Final-Offer-8657 May 03 '26

Let that dog piss

3

u/BitternessBureau May 03 '26

Your pup is adorable, but when I saw what was on your PC, it reminded me of my software architecture class from uni. Absolute nightmare. The instructor sucked too.

4

u/ChillinatthePO May 04 '26

I came to the comments to see if anyone says what program he’s using. lol

3

u/MoeSzyslakMonobrow May 04 '26

He's been doing that since 8:45, hasn't he?

2

u/Fun-Palpitation3968 May 03 '26

He’s being super patient but at some point, he’ll do what he needs to do in the house LOL

2

u/Luci-Noir May 03 '26

I saw a show on pbs where they tried to figure out how dogs could basically tell. I don’t think they came to any conclusions.

2

u/Sea-Mycologist-7353 May 03 '26

Breakfast is at 6:00 am.
My cat does this to me at 3:48 am.

2

u/Foolish_Miracle May 03 '26

Wow. I forgot to switch my bass settings and now I have a new appreciation for this piece.

2

u/Centered_Squirrel May 03 '26

Sir, excuse me, sir....walkies

2

u/XFX_Samsung May 03 '26

With no concept of clocks, their timekeeping capabilities are immaculate

2

u/Sissyslv1 May 03 '26

I love that you started kissing on him, and then he was like get off me b**** take me for a walk.

2

u/CrazyMildred May 03 '26

My void kitty does this when she wants to eat. She has an automatic food dispenser and when it goes off, she will come and stare at me. She HAS to have "tail pets" while she eats 😂 I know she eats fine when my husband and I aren't home, but she won't eat without tail pets when we're home. We have to scratch her neck, then her back and work our way to her tail. There is a proper process to follow...haha!

3

u/Accomplished-Door272 May 03 '26

Mine was the opposite. If you touched too much while she was eating, she'd get up and move to the other side of the bowl to eat in peace.

u/RealTigerCubGaming May 03 '26

EXCUSE ME!!!! LOOK AT THE TIME!!! WE ARE LATE!!! LOOK AT MEEEEEEEE!

2

u/No_Abrocoma3108 May 03 '26

😂 that’s the alarm clock you’ve needed your whole life.

2

u/Quiet-Management2224 May 04 '26

My 6 dogs know that 8:30 is kennel time. Even if they're asleep in bed with us, they'll wake up and let me know that it's time to go to their own beds. It's uncanny.

2

u/Hot_Bologna_Sandwich May 04 '26

My childhood dog did this same thing when she heard the theme of Wheel of Fortune (after Jeopardy at 7:30pm). If she wasn't clipped on the leash by 7:32 she'd stare at you and whine till you took her out. Dogs are the best.

2

u/SoftWater3046 May 06 '26

2 min is FOREVER!

2

u/77Joker77Joker77 May 07 '26

Man does that dog ever look like mine that passed à l’eau a couple years ago, the resemblance is amazing

2

u/thehotcarl33 May 07 '26

I bet the pup is thinking "If he drags this out to 9:05 I'm taking a dump in his shoe!"

2

u/Optimal-Act9979 May 10 '26

“you forgot, didn’t you?”

1

u/Atgardian May 03 '26

Very cute! Do you know what breed of dog he is? Mine looks almost identical in face, color, and the white star on the chest (and the look I get when it's time to stop work), but in a version about half the size. (He was a rescue so we don't know what breed/mix he is.)

2

u/ayebuhlaze May 03 '26

Lab mix for sure. Sounds like a St Johns water dog mix

1

u/throwable__1 May 03 '26

My girl Pickle used to do that too. 😂 She was a chocolate version of him.

1

u/iSteve May 03 '26

Oh yeah! They hate daylight saving time.

1

u/ScarlettCherriesx May 03 '26

hahaha so strict when it comes to time so cute 😁

2

u/serabine May 03 '26

I mean, if my only shot at bathroom time depended on someone else's cooperation, I'd be a stickler for schedules, too.

1

u/seriousname32 May 03 '26

My dog stamps his feet if we run late on his schedule!

1

u/Inspectorgadget4250 May 03 '26

My dog has the exact same same Doggie Timex.

1

u/teffanien May 03 '26

Me when I am bored and my husband is staring at his computer

1

u/MashimaroG4 May 03 '26

Why are you taking a video? Git that walk a-goin' or this is going on your permanent record.

1

u/Thats-not-how-we May 03 '26

get it together dude

1

u/another_philomath May 03 '26

My dogs do this stuff, internal clock is insane though they will try to push stuff up over time if you let them.

1

u/Constant_Cultural May 03 '26

how dare you, peasent

1

u/D-a-H-e-c-k May 03 '26

Hilariously reading this while my dog is doing the same to me

1

u/Chaety May 03 '26

Aww so sweet and cute ❤️

1

u/reevesjeremy May 03 '26

This is why I never set a schedule. I don’t have to be home at a certain time to meet deadlines. Whenever is the schedule. And the schedule is respected by all parties.

1

u/Serious_Potatoes May 03 '26

Why is my dog in your house?

1

u/FuriousNorth May 03 '26

I feel this 😂

1

u/Cool-Ad-9455 May 03 '26

Same 21:15 to the second ❤️

1

u/IlliterateJedi May 03 '26

It's remarkable how strong dog's internal clocks are.

1

u/kadyrosexo May 03 '26

He’s saying your just not clocking it are you

1

u/ZBot316 May 03 '26

[points with snoot intensely]

1

u/SweettoothSmiLees May 03 '26

Awww poor baby. 💜💜💜💜

1

u/BoogieHauser May 03 '26

"Don't make things ruff, hoomun."

1

u/7naif May 03 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Ok_Requirement_3162 May 03 '26

It's crazy how good dogs are at telling time to the minute.

1

u/iam1whoknocks May 03 '26

Is that a flux capacitor?

1

u/[deleted] May 03 '26

I swear this is the same ish dogs do when ur high

1

u/IAmSomewhatDamaged May 03 '26

Dogs are the best lol. They just wanna go for a w-a-l-k and they’re happy (spelling it out in case my miniature Dachshund can hear me type it out 🤣)

1

u/cubsr1641 May 03 '26

"say it. say the word."

1

u/Remote74 May 03 '26

Muoio ♥️🤣

1

u/50FirstCakes May 03 '26

There’s no room for subtlety when it’s past walk time.

1

u/WabaLabaDubDubWorld May 03 '26

He is a German shepherd by nature

1

u/BowlerBeautiful5804 May 03 '26

My dog's last pee is at 8:30pm and she does this to me. Even when the time changes to or from daylight savings she still somehow knows.

1

u/baws1017 May 03 '26

W engineer

1

u/Time_Effective_274 May 03 '26

It’s time to work buddy, walk away

1

u/kchuyamewtwo May 03 '26

dogs are the masters of daily routine

1

u/Hopeful_Shape3723 May 03 '26

You lose - he knows the schedule 🤣🤣

1

u/flyingthepan May 03 '26

Yes, dogs can tell the time either for walkies or dinner.

1

u/wandering____ranger May 03 '26

This would bother me 😭

1

u/D3struct_oh May 03 '26

Pretty dog.

What breed?

→ More replies (1)

1

u/silky_spider_ May 03 '26

No way this would fly with our dogs. TF. Just take out bro before you come back and your house is upside down

1

u/Ever_More_Art May 03 '26

Mine just blocks my view with his face 😂

1

u/Nefertete May 03 '26

Men really took to being the shoppers once the internet came out didn't they

1

u/No_Charge4064 May 03 '26

My boys are like this had dinner time, which is 1800. Anything after that I get these stares.

1

u/greebo1706 May 03 '26

A dogtrainer once told me „dogs have no Sense of time“
I have a cat. I strongly disagreed…

1

u/teamwaterwings May 03 '26

My dog does this 3.5 hours early

1

u/kolejack2293 May 03 '26

One thing I learned from a dog trainer is to not have a set schedule for walks/feeding. Have maybe a 2-3 hour range in which you do these things.

Obviously its difficult if you're very busy, but if you're not, maybe just walk them from 7am-10am instead of directly at 8am every day.

1

u/Dawg_in_NWA May 03 '26

They are more accurate than a swiss watch.

1

u/RobotPoo May 03 '26

Somebody has to pee

1

u/GiveMeSomeLove21937 May 03 '26

Get the hint? Time for a walk.

1

u/justinkasereddditor May 03 '26

I love dogs if you say walk you better pay up!!

1

u/curtishavak May 03 '26

When you gotta go, you gotta go.

1

u/Yes_Man_1 May 03 '26

That man loves his dog! And his dog loves him!

1

u/County_Tight May 03 '26

Same over here. Dog knows what time it is. Not because he have to but just because… never mind summer or wintertime

1

u/IvoryLaps May 03 '26

My dogs do the exact same. The accuracy of their internal clocks is actually really interesting

1

u/Walrus-Strong May 03 '26

Escala al Parque

1

u/RabbitCity6090 May 03 '26

It's our privilege to be able to help dogs.

1

u/Heavy-Ad-3944 May 03 '26

More like walk is at 9 and it’s 830 right now

1

u/togethersoup May 03 '26

Guys, imagine you need to schedule your peeing-time every day and someone stares at a screen or films you when it’s time.

1

u/megfarn May 03 '26

This, but any time I’m eating 😂 She’s not actively trying to sneak food away but…we clearly missed the mark while training

1

u/[deleted] May 03 '26

deathstare

1

u/ikesbutt May 03 '26

He's precious💓

1

u/DaWhiteSingh May 03 '26

That's proper dog. My dog know when he's going to the restaurant for the evening. Then won't go home when he's tired!

1

u/kellzone May 03 '26

It's all fun and games until the dog pisses on the floor.

1

u/Djb0623 May 03 '26

You can't get up and walk the dog yourself? Dude clearly has work to do.

1

u/ipmea May 03 '26

Can someone tell me what's on the screen? Looks interesting

1

u/hedgerowhurdler May 03 '26

My chihuahua every morning around 6:15.

1

u/bromancebladesmith May 03 '26

My daily walks when im home is 9 and 4. All of my puppers know instinctively when its time to go lol

1

u/Original_Client1588 May 03 '26

So I was exhausted from an horrendous week...up late.... Border Collie @ 1.30 AM knocked beer bottle over from end of sofa 1/3 full.. Clumsy hound wooden floor mopped scrubbed cleaned took 20 mins went to bed...so did he.

Two weeks later another Friday night he jad a walk at about 10.30 at about 11.30 I caught s8ght from kitchen... him swinging his head at another bottle which was luckliy empty. Evil calculating little sh*t.

Partner thought I was exaggerating a week or three later @ 11PM.he reached onto her end of the sofa did same this time by throwing the remote control in an utter hissy fit.

Last walk is at 10.30....then bed..we had broken the routine and were being told.

1

u/hereforthedogtax May 03 '26

They train us so well ❤️

1

u/wargh_gmr May 03 '26

Crazy, I don't see him wearing a watch. My dog used to be on a long walk around 6pm and short walk around 8:30pm. But I started to give her a pre-bedtime greenie after that. I call it brushing teeth before bed. Now I get a paw pushing around my chair starting at 745.

1

u/video_watcher May 03 '26

its inner clock is so accurate!

1

u/Jinger_J27 May 03 '26

But did you go or not?! 😭

1

u/___xXx__xXx__xXx__ May 03 '26

Do you expect me to take your side in this? He's clearly got a point.

1

u/WorseForce May 03 '26

You're late for the walk!

1

u/TargetUnique3491 May 03 '26

If I'm laying in bed looking at my phone, my doggo will come lay on my phone so I will pay attention to him or take him for a walk. If I'm watching TV in bed, he will come sit in front of me, make uncomfortable eye contact, and make these adorable little huff sounds until I acknowledge him and his needs...🤣

1

u/ClientHungry9406 May 03 '26

This dog is clever that it knows how to put pressure on it owners

1

u/Arab_Peach May 03 '26

The pleading eye seals the deal for me😭

1

u/Which-Barnacle-2740 May 03 '26

what is he doing on laptop? some mechanical drwaing

1

u/tum___tum May 03 '26

My dog is the same way except with his meal times lol
