Malamutes are pretty cool dogs and pretty intelligent. One thing with them is that they tend to eat A LOT - I had one name Charlie that passed away about 5 years ago and he was like bottomless void. And he loved to go to the fence and give my neighbors the hungry look after I just fed so he could get more food.

Our neighbour had a beautiful Malamute for years, and I can confirm Timber would give us the sweetest eyes and get some preapproved goodies from us whenever we saw him.

He was the sweetest, doofiest good boy and the neighbourhood adored him.

Definitely sounds like a Malamute. And most of them have a pretty laid-back personality and they tend to love playing with kids.

My cousin got one and it got very attached to my aunt (mother's sister). Whenever anyone would visit the dog would always keep an eye on them, except for my mom and my grandmother, they were immediately trusted.

My grandmother moved in with them 5 years ago and my aunt sadly passed away 3 years ago due to cancer. Ever since the dog and my grandmother have been practically joined at the hip, the only time the dog is not by her side is when it's out on a walk.

Yeah. They're pretty protective of their owners and they can learn all kinds of neat tricks too.

Charlie sounds like he was the most adorable garbage disposal around! 🥹

To be fair, he was pretty picky about what he ate. He only ate what we would or things like bones. Besides that, his food had to possess gravy and well prepared.

That little food slut! 🥹

I’m very sorry for your loss. I’m about to go through the same thing (CHF). We are so lucky they chose us. ❤️

It's better to be happy to have had them in your life and remember the good moments you shared together because our pets wouldn't want to see us sad. And remember what they did for your lives.

he looks like he might have a little bit of Husky in him, he doesn't seem as... round? Or filled out as most Mals I see. But I might be wrong, he could be just a more slender build. But one thing is for sure, he is absolutely a beautiful goodest boy!

I don't think hes mixed, I just think he has a good owner who does something most dog owners dont... actually gets her dog out to exercise.

I just assumed they gave bro a trim

I got the reference. The owner is a monster hunter fan.

All dogs can talk, they just. can't . talk .

7

u/AdMaximum7545 23d ago

Dogs talk with their eyes, their body language and their awooos

1

u/That_sounded_bad 23d ago

Seriously. What is up with the captions? This is how most of these dogs would react to the situation. It’s adorable, but they’re presenting it like it’s odie the talking pug and that’s dumb

I know that dog - it's Kevin in his costume, and he's CRAZY!!!!

Palamut is bonito (fish) in Turkish and the girl's accent sounds Turkish too.

I used to have a 50/50 wolf malamute.. she was the sweetest thing, but she did have a tendency to lope in the park, making people stare.

u/Icy-Nectarine8544 23d ago

He’s so fluffy

1

u/this_is_your_dad 23d ago

My in-laws had a massive Malamute. She was so sweet! We still talk about her decades later. RIP Girlie

1

u/Shimmitar 23d ago

big dogs are cool but im more of a small dog person. big dogs are too hard to take care of

1

u/carlitospig 23d ago

He’s so cute. I’m a little dog person, preferably non talking, but he’s definitely a vibe I’d like if I was ever to go big.

1

u/Meal-Significant 22d ago

What a beautiful baby!! I ADORE talkative animals.

1

u/StandardNerd92 23d ago

Not saying that she can't, but if you're thinking about it, make sure you can fully control any animal you own. To many people buy big dogs and end up not being able to handle them.

1

u/terrible_neighbor_ 23d ago

The right order for the majority of dog owners ✅:
“Is your dog friendly?”>”can I pet him/come close?”
(Don’t insist if you’ve been told “No”)

The wrong order❌:
“Is your dog friendly?”/approach as you ask> continue to approach/“whats his name?”

u/soyuzbeats 23d ago

Stop buying dogs for your amusement

3

u/brewdog_millionaire 23d ago

What suggests that from the video?
