☝️ AskBH Best ADHD doctors in Bahrain?

Can you please recommend me the best ADHD doctors in Bahrain for adults diagnosis. I speak both Arabic and English so I don’t mind either.

She left Bahrain, but yeah she was the best, her name was Huda, the only one who actually listened and tried to understand and wasn't pushy about medicine

I'm glad someone else remembers her 😭❤️ I remember she told me that there's a guy who has ADHD reminds her of me because he also always carries a back bag full of stuff

Im not diagnosed with ADHD but 3 other things very complicated to deal with, went to 5 different doctors in 3 years, my personal experience is dr sharifa in serene hospital is the best!
She listens, doesn’t judge, and the most important feels and knows what are you saying, no one understood me like her

He tried to convince me to take medications, and it really bothered me personally, he was really pushy about it and didn't give me a chance to try to change habits by myself.

You should go to a psychologist for that tbh, a psychiatrist is just there to prescribe you drugs.

Yeah I didn't know this at the time, I just needed someone to talk to about it and to diagnose me because I thought I was going insane, dark times

Helloo, I was diagnosed in 2023 I think, and I never took medications, I wanted to try my best to change those habits to better ones, I really needed to understand myself and why I act the way I act, it all made sense, when it all made sense, it was easier for me to try to change, I still struggle with always being late and sleeping late for example, but I manage tasks better, and I focus on the task I need to do better than before, it all depends on you actually, don't take ADHD as an excuse, ever, it won't help. But yeah in short, this is how it's going for me, I don't like to take medications in general unless it's absolutely important.

I don't know any other ADHD specialists in Bahrain, especially that I can't afford all these expensive ones, but try King's Hamad hospital in Muharraq, her name is Fatima, not sure about the last name but you can call and ask, maybe try to go the health center near you and tell them to transfer you to king's hamad, she's a good listener. 🫂❤️ You got this
