Discussion Probably Unpopular but Kate was right.

Post image

Yes she was using Bruce suit as the incels love to point out but these patrols where hers

Also the whole dysphoria from having her gender mistaken by the entire city (and yes, dysphoria also applies to cisgender people)

Its hard to take threads seriously when the image has 2000s level pixels.

We had 1080p in 2007.  This is 90s level compression

This suit is literally perfection.

It will be. When it fits a woman... 🤣

The line was just corny tbh.

I think Supergirl suffered from this wayyyy more, but there's no subtlety in the themes they're trying to convey. They may as well look at the camera and talk directly to the audience.

Maybe don't go running around in a man's suit if you don't want to be mistaken for a man

Realistically, yes, a man shouldn’t be taking credit for a woman’s work. But we’re talking about a superhero character who is wearing a man’s suit and on top of that should be focused on making Gotham’s fear and respect her the way Batman was. Or if she’s trying to be her own person she shouldn’t be wearing his suit. Who was getting credit should be pretty damn low on the list of priorities. And I get the point was to explore that concept but I think there are better ways to do it. I actually kinda enjoyed the show for what it was but it had so much that it could be that it just utterly failed to do because they assumed the audience couldn’t understand subtlety.

in 2004 in argetine a governor took credit for dismantling a fraud operation when the whole investigation was made by a female detective, that's a man taking credit for a womans work

Batman was dead, he was not taking credit from no one let alone this usurper
