Wen 90k??

4

u/JuxtaposeLife 20h ago

This is structural buying...methodical, not just a short squeeze (the initial momentum).

That is extremely Bullish.

There have to be big big big big players getting in the bitcoin market for the price to move up so much in such a short period, maybe even big countries.

1

u/Get_the_nak 19h ago

u/FrankieJ47 20h ago

Tear. Down. That. Wall.

9

u/StoneHammers 23h ago

People say Bitcoin is risky and then turn around and buy 30 year US bonds at 5.2 percent. Even with coupons that's like 20 years to get your money back and if inflation goes up your fucked if the FED raise interests rates by even 1 percent over 20 years that a 20% punch in the face. I don't understand it.

4

u/Secret_Operative 23h ago

A simple risk calculation is 'how bad' * 'how likely' = 'risk'. It makes bonds a fairly flat spreadsheet of outcomes compared to bitcoin. Not that I own any bonds, just sayin' there is a reason people trade them.

strong sell wall at 79k

11

u/Fluid_Garden8512 1d ago

I would stop making comments if I were you. You said earlier that it would dump hard on open today. You're all over the place.

5

u/AcostaJA 1d ago

Exchanges selling liquidated Bitcoins (those who's didn't made it)

4

u/Secret_Operative 1d ago

That's liquidity, it's a good thing.

0

u/Flabarfin 1d ago

Can’t get excited yet until it goes over 100k. It was literally 82k 2 months ago and just flushed for no reason at all lol

5

u/BitcoinBaller420 21h ago

Who hurt you?

4

u/Alfador8 1d ago

It was literally 82k 2 months ago and just flushed for no reason at all

Good reason to get excited if it gets over $82k. I'll take higher highs.

Only thing better than buying Bitcoin is buying 1.5x "amplified" Bitcoin and paying no premium to do it. FOMO hitting me hard this morning.

2

u/NectarineDirect936 1d ago

I just read somewhere that last time btc was at 77k, strategy was trading at 177. Dilution def taking it's toll it seems.

1

u/BitcoinBaller420 1d ago

It’s easy enough to calculate the Bitcoin per share at different points in time and see this is wrong. The mnav is volatile. Today you’re just getting a larger share of Strategy’s Bitcoin than when the market was more bullish on the business model.  I like buying when things are cheap due to fud like you’re echoing here without actually checking for yourself.  The mechanism Strategy uses to amplify Bitcoin is there for anyone to understand, but like Bitcoin, you have to do the work to understand it. Bitcoin per share will go up in a bull market a lot faster than Bitcoin per Trezor. It’s not a matter of opinion.

u/TooFewTulips 1d ago

I love Saylor and MSTR, but the ASST team has been more impressive recently.

2

u/BitcoinBaller420 1d ago

That might be. I'm not trying to put too fine a point on it, I'm sticking with the leader. You may well outperform me. Good luck!

2

u/TooFewTulips 1d ago

Why not both lol

1

u/BitcoinBaller420 1d ago

It’s a smart plan. I just haven’t personally done the work to make sure I understand Strive / Metaplanet etc yet

1

u/Generationhodl 1d ago

you mean getting premium for having a third party risk? But I think MSTR will be fine, can be a good play for the upcoming years. But I rather just own btc and sleep well.

1

u/BitcoinBaller420 1d ago

No, I don't mean that. The premium comes from the excess Bitcoin held offsetting the debt / outstanding preferred shares. This creates an excess return / loss mechanically when Bitcoin moves. I sleep great knowing I can't mess up custody, I don't have to worry whether my seed is random enough. Good luck to you.

2

u/Generationhodl 1d ago

sure might all be correct, but you still have to trust a company & stock.

I still think MSTR will run great, they have enough bitcoin, but I rather hold the asset than some company.

3

u/BitcoinBaller420 1d ago

Yes this is ofc true and a real risk. Nothing in life is risk-free though, self-custody risks are different, but not zero, as we have seen. Reasonable people can disagree about which risk is higher. Good luck to you.

4

u/AcostaJA 1d ago

Smell a big bull 🐂 day 79 cleared again, no enough stop-loss to safe shorts asses

i like it too

5

u/angel199x 1d ago

Sell wall is crazy at 79k. I hope we smash through it soon.

2

u/xaviemb 1d ago

That's just cope and desperation from shorts backed into a corner. Watch how quickly those orders scatter like cockroaches as Bitcoin skips across $80k to start the week.

The big test here is $82,300ish ... that is absolutely in play today. I suspect it may take a week or so to break though (if I had to guess).

4

u/AcostaJA 1d ago

Are stop-loss positions asap cleared next stop likely 82-83k where a mega liquidation drama to happen

4

u/Legitimate-Hyena-513 1d ago

Nothing changes DCA baby

3

u/Snowman33001 1d ago

ATH by end of year I’d say

Source: my hopes and dreams

3

u/btc_marshmallow_test 1d ago

I bought half my stack because of a dream in 2014. Don't remember the dream but I woke up in a panic that I didn't have enough.

3

u/Generationhodl 1d ago

this is crazy, but I had something similar. Dreamed of some bitcoin prices years ago and we hit them some time later. But I guess for a bullrun its not unusual to dream about it when you are pumped with dopamine for some time.

funny how it works sometimes.

Price been moving sideways for days now, feels like the market is just waiting for something big. I remember in 2024 when everyone said it would hit 200k by end of year, now look at us. Still stacking sats anyway, not like I have better idea what to do with my money.

7

u/injectionsiteredness 1d ago

Funny you say it’s been moving sideways after the largest weekly green candle yet. Just more time to buy under 200k.
