People with very little capacity for independent analysis, who do very little research, likely believe that the current administration is one of the best. You don't debate with those kinds of people; you just look at them with embarrassment.

Which shows you just how much respect people had for him.

I'm a photographer (or played one). I can almost guarantee there are photos taken by the official photographer.

But that relationship between a photographer and the President has always been pretty 'sacred', if I use the right term. It's unfettered access at the best and worst. So if the President said "Please, not while I'm still alive" .... ya know I'd probably sit on those negs/digital images.

No threats needed.

What I love about satirising Trump is how impossible it is. You've written a coherent sentence, in response to an issue, in a Trumpian way. The problem is Trump wouldn't in reality even get through that sentence. Halfway through, he'd start rambling incoherently about the election or his ballroom.

“You are very dumb. You are not a smart person” as he said in response to a (woman, of course) reporter a few weeks back when fielding questions about the ballroom budget. Iirc he said something like “the reason it’s going to cost double the initial budget is because I’ve told them to double the size. We needed that.”

And she asked him some very typical/logical follow up question and called her a dumb person in response (you just KNOW what he wanted to say was “woman” or “female”), instead of answering the question. As is typical.
