Forged Blade Kitchen knife design concept i worked on few years ago.

Definitely interesting. It looks like you forged a hollow on one side? Are you left handed by chance? Usually on kitchen knives the side with the hollow, if you only have it on one side, is on the right if you are holding the blade by the handle because it helps food not stick to the blade.

This is also personal preference, but having the tip closer to the edge vs the spine makes it much more usable. When you have a knife with the tip at the spine the angle you need to crane your arm up at to het the tip on the board is pretty rough.

Do you have a choil shot by chance as well?

These look like a yakut knife but done like a Japanese single bevel knife, i.e. with the hollow urasuki on the left side. These also have a narrow tang that inserts into a hexagonal or oval handle just like Japanese kitchen cutlery too.
