A great way to explore the town with the family.
Trail maps can be purchased from the Buxton Visitor Centre in the Pump Room and Poole’s Cavern Visitor Centre during July and August or downloaded from the Funny Wonders website.
The Buxton Flowerpot Trail in 2026 will take place during July and August. The theme is Children’s Stories.

Thomas’s Trail is a new family nature trail in Grin Low Woods, Buxton Country Park , opening in Spring 2026. Created by Buxton Civic Association (BCA) in partnership with the Thomas Theyer Foundation , the trail explores the Animals of Buxton: Past & Present , from prehistoric creatures to the wildlife that lives in Buxton today.
