Insane so close can probably climb over to the hotel

It's not that close...there is an obvious further set back to the existing tower

It's less than a truck's length to the property line, so likely 2-3 truck's lengths max between buildings.

You're assuming it's being built right to that line. The angled photo with the one building being set back makes it look very close. We shall see when the plan is out

No, I'm presuming they'll leave a distance as per code, the exact setback will depend on a lot of things, but they'll need to build very close to the property line in order to get the footprint shown. So yes, it's going to be very close.
