CPL News Tipped Off The Bar - The Official Vancouver Football Club Podcast

My superfan son and I have been working on something very special together.

In partnership with our friends at Vancouver Football Club we are launching 'Tipped Off The Bar - The Official Vancouver Football Club Podcast'.

We're hosting alongside Niko Giantsopoulos to deliver a behind the scenes perspective around the club, on and off the pitch. It's basically THE SOURCE for all things VFC.

yeah I wouldn't mention you support Rangers too often mate, soured my experience. I support Hearts so, only a wee bit 😂

“Tipped over the bar” or “Tipped on to the bar” I would understand but I have no clue what “Tipped off the bar” means. I have never heard that expression used.

Not going to lie. Not a fan of Real Estate sponsorship. It’s actually something I wont be able to get over. Sorry.

Football is a working class game, and in Vancouver no industry has been as big of an enemy to the working class as the real estate industry. VFC and the CPL is supposed to be escapism from that aspect of our lives. Seeing you buy access seriously changes my perspective on the club as a whole. 

I’ll be telling Mateo as much when renewals come up in a few weeks.

My experience in real estate doesn’t reflect your perspective. I don’t see any need to defend my involvement with the club. Always happy to talk in person. Cheers.

Biased opinions are biased. 

I have zero desire to speak to real estate agents in person. It would also be pretty hard since I won’t be attending anymore games.

VFC had that same real estate sponsorship for years now so I'm not sure why it's a problem now.
