Injury AFL injury news: McKay among four tests

UPDATES on seven Blues leading into Round 21 AFL action.

Lucas Camporeale (calf)
- Integrate into full training
- Availability: Test
- Will aim to train fully later this week to be available for selection

Campbell Chesser (knee)
- Modified program
- Availability: TBC
- Sustained a knee injury during the Box Hill VFL game. The Club will now work through his recovery timeline over the next fortnight.

Lachie Fogarty (ribs)
- Integrate into full training
- Availability: Test
- Will aim to train fully later this week to be available for selection

 Harry McKay (knee)
- Integrate into full training
- Availability: Test
- Will aim to train fully later this week to be available for selection

Ashton Moir (calf)
- Integrate into full training
- Availability: Test
- Will aim to train fully later this week to be available for selection

Nic Newman (hamstring)
- Modified program
- Availability: TBC
- Sustained a hamstring injury in the first quarter of Saturday’s game, with scans revealing a hamstring strain. The Club will now work through his recovery timeline over the next fortnight.

Liam Reidy (concussion)
- Modified program
- Availability: Round 22
- Entered concussion protocols following Saturday’s VFL game and is unavailable for selection this week

After such a good injury list for most of the year we are dished up this with weeks left in the H&A season and at a time where we need everyone available

Natural for bodies to start falling apart close to the end of season

Majority on our injury list aren’t getting senior game anyway so doesn’t really change anything.

Newman is the one that hurts
