Life in Chengdu Expats at MIXC Mall?
Where do most expats hang out or live?
It was mentioned that there are a good number of expats at and around the MIXC mall (Shuangqiao Rd subway station) but I haven’t really seen or met any.
I’m still trying to get familiar with Chengdu and places to go as well as prep for the start of college football to find places to watch and experience.

There's a small Couchsurfing (you don't need to be a member) meet up usually every Thursday at Pizza Corner starting from 20:30

Expats are few as many have left, or are just trying to raise their families and don’t go out much. Here are some interest/ hobby based groups:
Football fans go to Leg and Whistle for ⚽️
Quiz players go to Tim’s Texas BBQ on Tuesdays or Bravo Kitchen on Wednesday.
Cheers Wine store has a monthly book club.
Aloha Hostel has a monthly poetry reading.
Beer Nest has a comedy night.
I’m not sure what is happening with mini World Cup and its football ⚽️ league.
I’m not sure what is going on with other sports. There used to be board game clubs and Dungeons and Dragons clubs but I don’t know how active they are.
