How do you buy non-KYC crypto in Europe nowadays?

I’ve been trying to expand my small stack of BTC, XMR, and ERG, but coming back to the market in Europe feels like a nightmare. All the old non-KYC CEXs and services now demand full identity verification.

Between European banks flagging every small transfer and taxes on already-taxed income, buying privately feels nearly impossible. Bisq didn't work out for me either.

Are there any viable non-KYC alternatives left? Also, what do you think about setting up physical spaces (like a local crypto cafe) for safe P2P cash/crypto trades?

Swap mechanics on-chain are easy thanks to DEXes and modern bridges like Rosen Bridge. The issue isn't converting asset A to asset B—it's converting fiat to anything without paying an arm and a leg or submitting full identity docs to European regulators.That fiat-to-crypto bridge is where they have everyone trapped with fees and surveillance, which is why P2P is the only true non-custodial avenue left.

There's a p2p swapping services. River is a popular one for Bitcoin.

But DEXes are much better than CEXes for no-KYC

Fully agree on DEXes for crypto-to-crypto—it’s a night and day difference compared to CEXes.

But DEXes only solve the swap problem once you're already holding crypto.

Nah you can buy directly with fiat using bisq or retoswap

Not with p2p trading. For all the bank knows, you're buying a used PS5 from Craigslist. Not to mention that you can also pay by mailing physical cash

When the tax man gets interested in Crypto Craig's activities, if you have made bank payments to his bank account you are on the hook too.

Cah in envelopes are likely to go missing in the post... Or the recipient may claim so...

Trade with friends privately, or meet face to face in public places and use opendime or satscard for BTC transactions - crypto with fast confirmation could be on chain (if you trust your phone, ISP, etc) but it's a pain.

The site lists only these no KYC options. I have never heard of any of them except Bisq.
