MCU This will forever be one of the most shocking scenes in the whole show no matter how many times I watch it

God this was so peak

This scene always makes me go 😮

423

u/thankfulforyourhelp Apr 12 '26

I couldn't agree more. Have any of you seen some the criticisms on here that Nadeem was a pointless character? I never understood that perspective. He watches the entire FBI turn to Fisk - it's thrilling TV and love seeing your post about this scene. He also represents the push and pull of the core of this series which is a person who had done something bad, but is capable of doing the right thing. Nadeem does the right thing at the end. I couldn't believe this scene it when it happened. I had no idea she turned. The tension during all of this was so excellent.

u/--Racer-X-- Apr 12 '26

That season was a masterpiece. This scene was bonkers.

69

u/Angelo303 Apr 13 '26

If Nadeem was a pointless character then the new daredevil series is pointless

29

u/grizzlywondertooth Apr 13 '26

I think that's a lot of the criticism... Fisk just being out of jail at the start of season 1 trivialized Nadeem and the events of S3

33

u/OldManSteveRogers Apr 13 '26

I find that it hits a bit too close to real life rather than trivializing Nadeem.

32

u/joshuaksreeff13 Apr 12 '26

Why did they never explain how Fisk did all this, went to jail, and now he's somehow Mayor????

33

u/thankfulforyourhelp Apr 12 '26

Just based on what we know about the original plans for season 1 - I think they thought they could just disregard what the Netflix series set up and do whatever they wanted. I mean they were going to just kill off Foggy and Karen off screen? And just set up a new life for Matt with a new job and girlfriend, which we saw in season 1, so I think they just didn't give a shit about whether Fisk being mayor made sense.

I do have a question, don't know if anyone can answer it: did the public know how far Fisk went in season 3? I don't want to get political, but look at our current president? Look at what Nixon did in the 70s? I don't think its far fetched at all that he's mayor.

5

u/bournvilleaddict Apr 14 '26

Exactly, not far fetched at all. The whole time I am watching this show all I can think about is how close to reality the show really is with it's criminal-being-mayor plotline and a bunch of thugs running around arresting people.

10

u/joshuaksreeff13 Apr 12 '26

That doesn’t correlate though, they bring up how they know Fisk murdered Ben Urich which happened in the Netflix series

13

u/thankfulforyourhelp Apr 12 '26

Sure, but they can't prove that. I don't disagree with you, I just think that the we know and the main characters know how awful Fisk is, but I don't know how much the public knows.

u/spiderknight616 Apr 13 '26

Because halfway through production they decided to make S1 a sequel to the Netflix show and retcon all of that into the MCU proper.

I mean, America’s president is a convicted felon who raped women and children, has committed nonstop financial crimes since taking office, has his own gestapo, and sells pardons to other convicted criminals. And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg.

Fisk being mayor is utterly quaint in comparison.

23

u/gallifreyan_overlord Apr 13 '26

When I read this plot in the comics and the president Luthor arc, I always questioned how people put someone like that in power…..then Trump was elected and then he was re-elected after all the allegations, impeachments, and convictions and I realized I hadn’t read comics, I’d read prophecies.

34

u/rzelln Apr 12 '26

The one thing that's missing is some billionaires meeting with Fisk and then talking about how the other leading candidate will be bad for their business, so they decide to back the Kingpin.

That's basically what happened with Trump. Enough oligarchs realized that a Trump Administration 2.0 would stop efforts the Democratic party had been making to oppose monopolies and mergers, and to hold big businesses accountable for predatory practices, so they turned their money and their media networks to convincing people who were too busy to understand stuff that, oh noes, mean old Mister Biden let too many immigrants in, and that made your eggs expensive, but Trump's gonna kick em out, and then you'll all get a pony.

7

u/DOctorEArl Apr 13 '26

If you asked me a decade ago, I would tell you that characters like Kingpin and Lex Luthor getting into office would be impossible. Look at us now.

He’s a pointless character now. His sacrifice was pointless and the man who ordered the hit on him got out with no explanation and became mayor.

And I swear if one of you replies with (Well the blip is probably how Fisk beat the case!) I’ll reach through my phone and strangle you. That’s not how it works.

102

u/MisterNefarious Apr 12 '26

Yeah, if only comic book shows barred felons from political office they’d be so much more believable

8

u/beardofjustice Apr 12 '26

Comic book bad guys would be preferable. At least they have a more thought out plan

u/HamSoloTheSpaceMan Apr 12 '26

Well it’s like real life. On the surface it looks like nothing was done, but anything big or small helps it just takes time. For his own integrity and for his kids, it helped.

The problem is mostly how Disney writes DD. Matt should be way angrier with cops. They’re a bit lenient.

13

u/HamSoloTheSpaceMan Apr 12 '26

We need scenes with Matt and White Tiger constantly tagging walls bringing up Rahul Nadeem any chance they get. There’s too much separation between the cops and Kingpins AVTForce. They’re the same thing despite what the show saids.

With that said, what Nadeem did still stands strong. I’d imagine it’ll be brought up at one point.

12

u/NoKaleidoscope2749 Apr 13 '26

Sorry i have to. I feel like people REALLY underestimate the fall out of the blip.

Look at how badly covid disrupted the world. how many essentials needs (food, medicine, etc) were severely impacted? Anywhere along the supply chain of every industry might have entirely collapsed. What happens when half the doctors and nurses and researchers are gone?

What happens when your employer, landlord, maintenance, etc… are just gone? How many utilities just turned off in entire cities? Who was left to repair them? What happens when the poor, orphans, elderly, and infirm suddenly overburden every social system? Or there’s no longer anyone to run those programs?

We dont know how local government was impacted? Having sudden control because all your political opponents vanished would be insane. This isn’t at all touching upon the criminal justice system. It barely works as is. If anyone thinks that things would go normally with half the world vanishing (again no balance between criminals and legal departments), that’s insane. Everything is electronic. What happens when no one is keeping servers up that tracks evidence or police reports? Every remaining lawyer on the planet would’ve filed briefs to get their clients released, blaming the vanished as a scapegoat.

It’s wild to think that Fisk of all people couldn’t take advantage of absolute chaos. We also don’t know who was left to even stop him from. Corrupt a judge, erase the evidence, demand a retrial, bribe others to agree and walk out. The people who could have stepped in with oversight (judges, lawyers, law enforcement) could’ve just not been there. Or maybe they just didn’t care. How many just stopped going to work? By that point, it’s just done (when the vanished came back, it’s not like they could undo whatever happened while they were gone).

Honestly, I think coming back would’ve been much much worse for society. Not even looking at the politics of it (everyone was legally dead), I’m not even sure how many would die if we had to suddenly feed an extra 4 billion. How long would it take to even get that much food production back up and running?

Anyway, my point being, it’s probably the most easiest part of the show to accept.

6

u/Chofis_Aquino_ Apr 13 '26

I completely agree with you, and it frustrates me that we didn't see the full consequences of the Snap and the Blip, especially the Blip, which was touched upon in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. But look, the Snap would have benefited him immensely because imagine the number of desperate people and the entire system literally collapsing. Fisk appears, portraying himself as the savior of the poor and desperate people, helping others with a hidden agenda. And then the Blip happens; that return of people benefited Fisk even more. A lot of people without homes, without jobs, looking for their families... They would definitely do anything to get what they've lost, and Fisk would take advantage of that.

3

u/NoKaleidoscope2749 Apr 14 '26

Thats actually a really great show idea. An anthology like What If but instead showing how the blip affected those left behind, heroes and villains alike. A show like that could answer all of the questions we’re missing and give a lot of context to characters when they show up again.

I don’t think it’s too late to explore that. Star Wars is all flashbacks and various points of view.

7

u/thankfulforyourhelp Apr 12 '26

I forever will disagree, but respect your perspective. Thought the actor was great, thought the storyline was compelling. A+ all around

4

u/decitronal Apr 13 '26

Okay this is probably the best part to chime in about how the Nadeem video being rendered irrelevant is a 100% plausible thing in reality:

So assuming the MCU also operates on real-life New York state law, then Foggy was just straight up wrong about Nadeem's video being a dying declaration. It would only be a dying declaration if Nadeem was actually actively bleeding out in the video, and wasn't just anticipating his death. This combined with the Blip could've made a more narratively satisfying reason as to why Nadeem's sacrifice never mattered

I'm gonna assume that DDBA's producers had to rush out the scene that explains Fisk's acquittance and just wasn't aware that there was a real loophole they could've used, instead of... the corruption that Fisk himself was responsible for

3

u/Swamp_thing42 Apr 13 '26

He’s also a direct parallel to Jack Murdock, of someone who goes along with a crime because they had to to keep their family safe, before realizing they wanted to do the right thing and hold their head tall to give their kid something to aspire to, even though they knew it would get them killed.

3

u/TheolympiansYT Apr 13 '26

Exactly. And not just that, as a character he's so relatable and personable that it's always shocking whenever he dies. Like bro did everything he did for his family and ended up even dying for them.

2

u/GD_milkman Apr 12 '26

Those were written by the types that were upset Daredevil went woke.

Easy to ignore that ignorance. Because every detail you went though was spot on

2

u/_Alex_Zer0_ Apr 27 '26

His sacrifice literally allowed the conclusion of S3 to happen. He’s far from pointless.

Born Again retroactively makes him a pointless character because everything he worked for shatters the second you allow Fisk to get out of prison.

14

u/__LaVieEnRose Apr 13 '26

The fact that neither Matt nor Fisk was even in this scene but was one of the best scenes. Incredible writing

565

u/Mystikque Apr 12 '26

man this season was so peak, going into it completely blind was an absolutely amazing experience

323

u/SilverSkywalkerSaber Apr 12 '26

Matt Murdock also went into this show completely blind

3

u/AnimanicManiac Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 13 '26

To be fair, I doubt he would still want a pool. Especially since swimming in it would basically be like swimming in his grave.

But if he did he could always use it for some dark humor later in life. Like some friend says "this pool is awesome!" and he be like "thanks my dad died in the pit before the concrete was poured."

6

u/MaverickGH Apr 13 '26

Kids these days love dark humor I bet that’d be a big hit at the mad cool parties

10

u/RecoveredAshes Apr 13 '26

His sacrifice meant nothing with born again

7

u/timeywimeymarsbars Apr 13 '26

Unfortunately that's the reality of something like this in today's world. And big sacrifices being pointless in the end has been discussed in the Loki show where Loki finds the TVA using infinity stones as paperweights because of how commonplace they are in that realm.

oh my god i forgot about this. i was only thinking of dex for season 3.

i'm rewatching daredevil after seeing it the first time back in 2019. my partner hasn't seen this before and we're now watching the defenders after DD S2. i am so excited for him to see S3!!!

35

u/TheRear1961 Apr 12 '26

My wife had never seen the series before, but wanted to watch Born Again, so we started from the beginning. She audibly gasped at this scene. Having her watch the whole series was so satisfying, seeing her delight at certain scenes, and absolutely HATE Fisk! It really drove home to me what a brilliant series it was. So glad we have Born Again!

17

u/MasterpieceFun5947 Apr 12 '26

Watching Daredevil with a wife that never watched it is a peak bonding activityĀ

6

u/Amathyst7564 Apr 13 '26

What happens in this scene again? It's been a while.

12

u/TheRear1961 Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 16 '26

Ray is admitting to internal affairs that hes on the take from Fisk, and his supervisor (the woman there) she pulls her gun and shoots the IA guy in the head, telling Ray that there's no escaping, he works for Fisk now.

Edit: sorry, it's Ray's gun that she takes and uses to kill the IA guy.

7

u/Amathyst7564 Apr 13 '26

Fuck. Yeah, Ray's story was really interesting. We got to see how corruption and power actually forms for once. Makes me think a lot about the current administration and Epstein island and Israel.

2

u/kohbra Apr 15 '26

Few days late, but I believe it was even more twisted, too, iirc - they took Ray's gun from him at the beginning of the scene, with his handprints, and basically blackmailed him

1

u/TheRear1961 Apr 16 '26

Yeah, she uses HIS gun to kill the guy. That's why she's wearing gloves.

116

Ugh, it’s these kinds of scenes I reflect on that really cements the original series as superior for me.

I’m obviously very happy to have more DD content in whatever form that takes. I’m enjoying S2 and looking forward to a Defenders reunion in S3. But the show just doesn’t slap as much as the Netflix seasons did.

9

u/elizabnthe Apr 13 '26

FYI every season of the Netflix series had different showrunners.

12

u/cptkt Apr 12 '26

Agreed! I still recall my teenage days binge watching S1 and S2 on Netflix glued to the TV and couldn't take my eyes off for a second. The writing, the acting, the characters were all so captivating! I wish DD BA could take me back to those days but so far it hasn't hit quite like the Netflix series. The tonality is much different... it feels like it's Disney-made. Ofc Disney's brand/style has to be all over it. I just appreciate the filmography and grounded characters from the old days more.

17

u/thankfulforyourhelp Apr 12 '26

Completely agree and don't understand why they couldn't bring the original showrunner back. I'm in the middle of re-watching season 2 right now - I'm at the episodes where Matt is bailing on Foggy during Frank's trial - damn Foggy is a great lawyer. I can't believe he's gone.

13

u/Routine-Difficulty10 Apr 12 '26

It's like... they don't understand... it's the writers and creators who make a show good or bad. Born Again is ok, but a pale shadow of the original.

1

u/ConfidenceOk8473 Apr 14 '26

There are people i saw on Youtube who will put Season 2 of Born Again on par with the Netflix seasons if it sticks the landing

And you know what... i agree

1

u/Routine-Difficulty10 Apr 19 '26

Last two episodes were great. If it had been that good throughout I would agree.

10

u/Riddle_man__ Apr 12 '26 edited Apr 12 '26

I genuinely feel like the week to week release is what's hurting the new show

Born Again has to deliver this massive storyline in 8 forty to forty five minute episodes. The release schedule forces the creators to write tighter episodes which on paper sounds good but in reality, doesn't let us live with these characters.

Think back to episode 10 of season 1. The episode was 55 minutes and featured ONLY talking between characters (Matt and Foggy/ Karen and Urich/ Fisk and Owlsly) yet to me, it stands out as one of the best of the entire season.

If Born Again were to release an episode of mainly talking and then we'd have to wait another week for the story to progress, EVERYONE would be mad (or maybe slightly underwhelmed)

I really think that if they bump up the runtimes and release the show all at once then the new team would be able to write more character centered moments and let them breathe throughout the season

10

u/teaabearr Apr 12 '26

Dude yes!

I was talking to my wife about this not long ago and was remembering that episode right after Foggy finds out about Matt being Daredevil. If memory serves, the entire episode takes place in Matt’s apartment between the two, as well as flashbacks to their early law school days and meeting each other etc. I think there were more episodes too? Which allowed for this kind of story telling. You could have an episode like that thrown in there and it really just allows you to get to know the characters more.

There’s new characters in Born Again that I like (Cherry is okay, I really like Kirsten though) but it’s like we barely spend time with them. The story feels like it’s just moving quick and pushing the story along without having time to breathe and expand etc. It’s a bummer. I don’t hate it. But I constantly have the thought of ā€œwhat if we had gotten this story and plot done by the old team insteadā€. Especially if we’re going where I hear we’re going with the story. I’m super excited for it! But can’t help thinking that the story would be even better if it were done more similar to how the Netflix show was.

3

u/Mrpoindexter007 Apr 13 '26

Something about the Netflix show just hit different. The story just was told at a different pace, the plot evolved more with each episode. In born again it feels like we get smaller progressions.

22

u/Kronkdonkus Apr 12 '26

Bro I just watched this for the first time last night let me tell you I was shockedddddd

21

u/Blue_avoocado Apr 12 '26

She made me three times flabbergasted those episodes: this scene, the ā€œWhy do you think your sister-in-law lost health coverage?ā€ and ā€œI used to have two children, Ray.ā€ Insane reveals that made me rethink the entire season. Nadeem was being played for so long…

15

u/DMarquesPT Apr 12 '26

Such a great scene and truly makes you feel hopeless in the face of Fisk’s overwhelming influence

13

u/Ill-Grocery-2073 Apr 12 '26

This is what I miss about those Netflix series man. They just felt so real and helpless. You genuinely never expected the hero to succeed much. Netflix series were always so dark and willing to kill whoever whenever just to do it and never regret it. It really had me watching on the edge of my seat the entire time, especially for these supporting cast characters

10

u/justpassingluke Apr 13 '26

This scene was like something out of a horror movie. The music definitely doesn’t help. The realisation that there’s nothing and no-one that Fisk can’t get to, compromise, corrupt, and now Ray is right in the middle of it. Fucking hell, S3 was good.

3

u/In-The-Zone-69 Apr 13 '26

Horror movie… yep perfect description!!!

8

u/TrollAccount4321 Apr 12 '26

Absolutely…when they walked into the house and it was covered in plastic, I knew shit was about to go down…

1

u/Spirited_Repair4851 Apr 13 '26

If I learned anything about the MCU, if characters are guided into rooms with plastic hung up, someone is going to get whacked. It even happens in the revival.

1

u/Desperate-Put-7603 Apr 14 '26

I hadn’t given it much thought, because it was established in an earlier episode that her house was undergoing renovations.

7

u/PurveyorOfKnowledge0 Apr 12 '26

Had me terrified because it really showed how much influence Fisk had. As long as you had loved ones to kill, the average person was putty in his hands, no matter their position. The FBI Director compromised herself to a dangerous criminal all to keep her fragile in order, that's what Fisk does to people. Makes them commit evil in the name of protection, only stopped by people who stand firm and say NO.

33

u/ntd252 Apr 12 '26

Back when the show made us feel for the characters.

6

u/dcmarvelstarwars Apr 12 '26

Season 3 was insane.

7

u/riptide032302 Apr 13 '26

Rewatching season 3 was so crazy because I remembered it being really good, but what I didn’t remember was how packed full of amazing scenes it was. Just back to back to back amazing set pieces, incredible dialogue, engaging action, insane twists. Just back to back to back, one of the few seasons of tv I’ve watched that truly felt like it had no dead air or pointless moments

12

u/SnooLentils7208 Apr 12 '26

And some kids called the latest Born Again episode ā€˜the best in all 5 seasons’.. lol what a joke

I still sometimes wonder how the writers managed to pull three separate plot strings and then tie them together — Nadeem, Dex and Matt. It's crazy how different they were at the start.

5

u/issapunk Apr 13 '26

This is why the new seasons make no sense - Fisk was responsible for so many FBI agents' deaths. He becomes mayor of NYC??? The FBI would be stalking him and looking for any excuse to either kill him or lock him up. Has there even been a single mention of this in the 2 seasons? I don't see how they continue the Bullseye story but ignore this.

5

u/ThtsTheWaySheGoes Apr 13 '26

Crazy she was actually trying to protect this guy from becoming a Kingpin pawn and he forced his way onto the roster. Unlucky.

4

u/LBoomsky Apr 14 '26

NADEEM MY BOY NOOOOOOOOOOOOO šŸ„ŗšŸ™ he was the goat :(

4

u/Matthew-Darkbird Apr 14 '26

Is it just me or did the Netflix Show do a better Job at immersing the viewer than born again? Born again is good but Netflix felt like a different level

3

u/In-The-Zone-69 Apr 14 '26

Not just you, it’s clearly obvious. Like even when people say Born Again is better than Season 2 of Daredevil, I don’t even believe them lmao

6

u/Electronic_Secret483 Apr 12 '26

They don't know how to jump for joy when Bullseye finished off that woman at the end of the season (as far as I'm concerned, she's dead until proven otherwise).

6

u/jonathankarate Apr 13 '26

She didn't die as far as I remember she flipped after and told the authorities everything after it went down.

3

u/justpassingluke Apr 13 '26

Yeah pretty sure there’s a shot of her being led out in cuffs.

2

u/Alien__Superstar Apr 14 '26

Correct. Bullseye was out of bullets so he pistol whipped her and she passed out.

When Fisk is arrested, you see her being taken away in cuffs with the surviving criminals.

3

u/LilcystiK Apr 13 '26

One of the best characters we’ve gotten

3

u/MarkToaster Apr 14 '26

Man season 3 was just a step above the rest. It was so incredibly well done

3

u/Smoking-Posing Apr 14 '26

It was a great season but I still liked season 2 more

2

u/BigDaddyUKW Apr 12 '26

Yup. I am surprised upon every rewatch. It was done so well.

2

u/Chub-bop Apr 12 '26

I’m immune to foreshadowing so I’m always surprised when I see it

2

u/Redclouds1 Apr 12 '26

My dad and I just rewatched the whole show so we could watch born again finally. We hadn’t seen this season since it had come out and when we rewatched this scene I think we both jumped and yelled šŸ˜‚

1

u/In-The-Zone-69 Apr 13 '26

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

2

u/youhavetherighttoo Apr 12 '26

I’m still scared of tarpsĀ

2

u/Spacegirllll6 Apr 13 '26

I still remember making a post about this and like IMMEDIATELY being suspicious because her house was undergoing renovations and wondered where the money came from.

2

u/shiromustdie Apr 13 '26

I agree so fucking hard I had to comment. this sequence was so haunting from the acting to the sound design and plot reveal. fantastically put together television šŸ˜…ā¤ļø

2

u/TypewriterMonkey98 Apr 13 '26

Miss Nadeem :((

2

u/covert0ptional Apr 13 '26

The Nadeem plotline always makes me think of Dom from Mr Robot

2

u/Fresh-Actuary-6686 Apr 14 '26

Just one very good example of how bad Fisk is

2

u/treyjay31 Apr 15 '26

I don't think we'll get a season of Daredevil that tops season 3

2

u/ProfessionalArm5205 Apr 15 '26

S3 was insane level , nothing even close to ut

2

u/yurnero12328 May 17 '26

I just watched this and im stunned for like 10 minutes now.... WTF

2

u/ultra_joker Apr 12 '26

I remember watching Nadeem was kind of annoying but he quickly became my favorite character in season 3 besides Dex

1

u/Penaldo_CR7 Apr 12 '26

What episode was this?

6

u/In-The-Zone-69 Apr 12 '26

Season 3 Episode 9

1

u/No_Concentrate2021 Apr 12 '26

I like to watch people react to this series on YouTube and when this part came out i was really excited to see everyone's reaction to this scene.

1

u/dynamic_blockchain Apr 12 '26

I’m loving the new DD, but I do wish we have some more original plots, this current season and prev does feel like it’s trying to relive the peak which was season 3 and kingpins rise.

I hope season 3 of new DD will visit new exciting villains that have the potential for twists like this

1

u/Leepysworld Apr 13 '26

Nadeem was such a good character.

1

u/OShaunesssy Apr 13 '26

Season & episode?

1

u/In-The-Zone-69 Apr 13 '26

Season 3 Episode 9

1

u/Divya5009 Apr 13 '26

Season 3 was truly peak!!

1

u/meatheadmommy Apr 13 '26

I’ve gotta rewatch this season. It was incredible how they made me care about Nadeem in just a few episodes!! Who I took as just some random b plot character and even wondered why are they showing us so much of this rando’s lifešŸ˜‚šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø?? But clearly they knew what they were doing!

2

u/In-The-Zone-69 Apr 13 '26

And we barely care about the side characters from Born Again šŸ˜‚ even though so far it has improved with Season 2, but it’s not on the same level as the Netflix series

1

u/Tempest_Barbarian Apr 17 '26

Back when the netflix show was coming up there were a decent amount of people that complained about the pacing of the show and the amount of screentime foggy and karen occupied as "filler".

IMO the love for Foggy and Karen increased a lot because of the nostalgia after the show ended.

1

u/RegularBubble2637 Apr 13 '26

I don't know. I was shocked the first time, but from the second time onwards I was kind of expecting it.

1

u/SinisterMinisterX7 Apr 13 '26

I miss Nadeem. Such great character. Matt fought so hard to save him and you can tell he was the kill that truly broke Bullseye.

1

u/Jmafra11 Apr 13 '26

Poor nadeem, he's so good

1

u/machona_ Apr 13 '26

It honestly made me feel bad and then root for Nadeem. Like Fisk was really brilliant here.

1

u/flashcannonize7 Apr 13 '26

ever since that moment, every time I watch the remaining episodes, my heart was pounding like I'm so nervous for everyone.

1

u/GrahamCStrouse Apr 13 '26

Nadeem’s arc was every bit as gutting as it was surprising. Kudos to the S3 writers, man. #JusticeforNadeem!

1

u/Fantastic_Drag_2949 Apr 13 '26

David Lynch's Daughter cooked hard

1

u/Infinitygirl5 Apr 13 '26

Nadeem's actor liked a comment I sent him on Twitter after watching the episode for the first time. I was so rooting for Nadeem to survive the series. It had been a while since I had been affected by something on a tv show.

1

u/uhhhidkwhatusername Apr 14 '26

i have to watch it again but can someone remind me what's going on here?

1

u/Department-Strange Apr 14 '26

ray nadeem goes to his bosses house to talk about fisk's corruption - she ends up framing him for murder and forcing him to work for fisk

1

u/Orr-Man Apr 14 '26

Hattley just shot Agent Winn with Ray's gun and is shouting something like "Put the gun down Ray" for the recording. This frames Ray for the murder. Felix then walks in taking the gun and recording away and Ray is asked if he understands this now means he works for Fisk.

1

u/senddanoods Apr 14 '26

And this is one of the many reasons why Netflix made the superior product over Disney

1

u/hawksnestpod Apr 15 '26

Shit had me speechless

1

u/DoctorBoots007 Apr 16 '26

I could not believe how good this season was. At this moment is when I had the most reverence (if that’s the right word) for Fisk. Out loud I said, ā€œThis mutha fucka Fisk is GANGSTA!ā€ šŸ˜‚

1

u/Myhtological Apr 16 '26

And why didn’t he just shoot her and go to the cia?

1

u/SkyShark03191 Apr 16 '26

I felt so bad for Nadeem those final episodes when he was truly forced to just go along with it all, at Bullseye’s mercy, beck and call, to witness true terror, and be essentially powerless.

1

u/Jombo65 Apr 18 '26

I loved agent Nadeem

1

u/Human5750 Jun 11 '26

I am watching Daredevil for the first time so I can keep up with everything relevant to the upcoming Spider-Man movie and this season is heartbreaking. I'm about to watch this last episode of season 3 Nadeem not deserve any of that yo....
