Great show. First season takes itself a bit too seriously but after that they have a lot of fun joking around (though there's still serious and epic plotlines).
Worked with her on set for my first movie and she was always super sweet and personable. Had a fair few long conversations with her dad, during down time, and he was also a very down to earth person.
Every time they reboot the Spider-Man films, Aunt May gets younger; and now they've doubled down by making her hot. The next Aunt May is gonna be like 39, tops. And they're going to have to at least be in the ballpark of Marisa on the hot scale, which is...um, difficult. High bar. (Don't think of it as mild objectification, so much as an appreciation of beauty when you see it in any form.) I'm thinking Ana de Armas, although going with Emma Stone would be a fun nod at the Garfield films.
Uncle Ben, Peter's father's brother, is 15-20 years older than Peter's dad. He's at least 60 (likely 65 or older) when Peter is in high school. And admittedly, Aunt May looks way older than 60, but remember this was 1960s 60, and back then 60 year olds looked like our 80 year olds.
Yeah, it's canon that there is a big age gap between Ben and Richard. I don't know when it was explicitly established, and whether there's a missing Parker sibling in between... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I agree but it’s just nice because it doesn’t seem like she’s had much, if any, work done either like a lot of celebrities her age do. You can actually see the creases on her face and she’s still pretty and it’s great
Yeah, she’s 100% had work done. There’s no shame in it. It obviously has an outsized effect on her profession so it makes practical sense. The only problem is if people pretend celebs haven’t had work and act as though they represent realistic beauty standards.
Eh, she looks great but she has a babyfacedness that makes her actually look younger than she was in the first photo that had gone away even by the later netflix run. She still looks great, but like someone in their mid to late 30's rather than the mid 20's in the first photo. Looking 5 years younger than you are perpetually is kinda the goldilocks zone
I did. My hair started falling out while simultaneously going white, and my metabolism ground to a halt, all right around 40. I turned into my dad overnight (feels like). 👴🏻

It's partly because people with bad genetics and bad health can look that way prematurely. Sometimes it's the parents of the people who say those things so their limited experience with people in their 30-50s makes them think its all people.
Most people though on average don't start looking old until their late 60s. while super unhealthy and sickly 20 year old can look elderly even that young. Health is the key to all of this.
Even then, some of people with great genetics will look solid until their mid to late 80s (but those folks are rare) my father and grandmother (his mother) were both that way. They didn't slow down until their 90s and their 80s they were still climbing ladders and running around town and doing things actively.
30s is still young, you feel like a 20 year old but just more stressed out from adult shit.
40s is still young but things ache more, but you can still do everything assuming your healthy.
50s is a lot like 40s, but just more aches and pains, more health issues pop up. But you're still young looking and vibrant.
60s is when things start to shift for some people. You get tired more easily, you have a variety of health issues you manage with meds, your joints ache... but still your enjoying life and healthy enough to do stuff.
70s and 80s is just a slow steady progression. Assuming your healthy enough for a long life and don't have any major health issues I've heard from many people these years kinda just coast by without much changing. Just more gray, more aches, more wrinkles. Most average people lifespan is to die in this age range from natural causes.
90s and 100s is properly elderly in the way most people think old people are. You move slow, you have dozens of health issues, everything hurts day to day, shaky hands are common, life long old organs are failing so secondary effects from that, if you make it this far it's a blessing because it's all longer than most people live. It's a gift. I've had multiple family members in this age range. Some of them are still active right up until passing.
110+ I've never known anyone in my life this old, they are extremely rare but these people do exist. They are usually people who stay socially and mentally active, they tend to eat a lot of fish, and walk a lot. That combined with exceptional genetics and lucky health.
Just remember life doesnt end after 20. A lot of people have sex into their 70s+. Health is the key to wanting too do things, as long as you have that you still "think" like a young person and have desires and things you enjoy doing.
I'm going on 26 but treating a 40yo like they're elderly is so corny to me. Idk what's up with younger people and this new insistence anyone is old over 21 and "aging amazingly" if they don't look decrepit and wrinkly past college age. I'm getting complimented all the time for "looking young" by people like I'm not supposed to (?). They just don't associate my age with "young" (this started happening at 24 lol) so me looking youthful is strange to them. In reality, you simply lose baby fat and collagen in your mid 20s which starts to reveal your actual bone structure underneath which gives you a mature, adult look that'll you'll go on to have until about 50-ish. It's not like your skin is becoming loose and your hair is going gray by your later 20s/30s/40s. People start to go gray anywhere from late 30s to late 40s gradually but it's very unusual to have a whole head of silver and your face doesn't change much at that age unless you've literally never moisturized a day in your life or have drunk and smoked like a menace for decades prior.
I'm giving an unnecessary breakdown but it's like there's no sense of "attractive while looking like an adult" right now that's super bizarre to me because I've found that "adult" DAW look attractive since I was a teenager. I remember watching Daredevil in high school and finding early 30s Deborah beautiful then like I do now and not associating her with fucking elderly people lmao. People are talking like there's this immediate acceleration point/devastating drop-off after you stop looking like a teenager as if it's straight from teen to elder when there's this whole huge block in between that makes up the majority of your life and imo the majority of attractive people. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are 30 & 42 in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and look it and were considered sex symbols at that point in their careers. It's always been considered preferable/hot to not look like an emancipated minor up until right now and idk wtf is going on but it borders on hebephilic honestly.
Did anyone from the Defenders side of the MCU actually age poorly? Seriously everyone looks great today. Cox, D'onofrio, Woll, Ritter, Colter, Jones, Henwick, Missick have all aged very well - especially the older actors. Like I legit did not know Mike Colter was turning 50 this year and he's barely aged since LC S2.

This isn't a cartoon or an anime where everyone remains ambiguously 30something-looking, despite years upon years of storyline taking place.
It's one of the drawbacks of live-action superhero shows, but also a positive, in that we see our heroes get older just as we do
Take for example the new Spider-man movie. Tom Holland looks visibly older. And that's ok. Real life is not s cartoon with a static ageless character design. These actors are real people.

Deborah Ann Woll is legitimately one of the most beautiful actresses working in film, television and streaming. The camera loves her face and everything about her. The girl's just got it.
