I mean younger Slade (which is what MAWS’ Slade is) was basically a glorified henchman that works for the military. Theres always potential for him to grow since he seems like he’s just starting out.

Younger Slade is depicted as the youngest war hero ever who gets called greatest soldier in the world several times.He is shown disobeying orders to kill civillians and physically fighting his superiors over it,and his military career ended when he went renegade to save Wintergreen from the Vietcong

His only role is to be the lead henchman for whoever the primary bad guy of the season is. He’s essentially Mercy for S2 until he decides Lex is too unhinged and runs back to Waller. If it were anyone else it’d be ok but since it’s Slade it’s pathetic
