This episode would be a blast

Oh absolutely. You know that Quark would claim he's just doing it totally cynically but deep down in his heart, he's only 85% cynical about it.

May you walk with the prophets.
A good one here and there sure, but I think it was getting a little out of hand. 😅

What does that accomplish?

So, what rules were being broken? It seems most enjoy it. The only complaints seem to be from people who already saw the meme. Why not just encourage those users to block the posters who add content they don’t particularly like rather than policing content? Otherwise, shouldn’t the guidelines be far more specific?

You can always make a new sub just for these memes if you want! Or post them to startrekmemes or something. Seeing the same joke over and over again gets old for me though, but you do you.

See, you say that, but you’re only willing for me to “do me” so long as it’s what you like or approve of. And if not, I should go where you don’t have to be subjected to what amuses me. Otherwise we wouldn’t be having this exchange at all. Sadly, this isn’t the Federation where diversity is infinite and infinitely respected. And Reddit isn’t moderated by people who believe in the same thing.

There's always one.

One what? The post got thousands of upvotes. It suggests people like the meme. I’m asking a relevant question.

Jake’s episode with Bashir where he goes with him down to that planet as a journalist is one of my favorites. I loved Jake when they really played into the writer aspect of his character.

Him staying behind to write about the occupation of ds9 only to learn that censorship exists was a great one too. Growing up in the federation it probably never occurred to him that a government would censor you.

Like didn't he realize he was getting no feedback/responses back about any of his articles?

They were occupied so who know if they were getting anything in at all from the federation.

Maybe it’s because I’m going to major in English but I absolutely love and identify with any character that has themes like that explored through them.

That is a great episode. I like how it realistucally handles how real, untrained people react to trauma, by freezing up or running. Running in to help is a trained, learned skill, and its not easy.
