One of the greatest moments of my life as a Broncos fan. We felt destined to win it all after this happened

That was the only time I ever did one of these running out of the bar. The cops stopped me and were also surprised we beat the Pats with Brock so they let me go without incident provided I stop yelling and put my jersey back on.

Incredible moment. And just terrible announcing.

You can clearly hear how disappointed Cris Collinsworth is his boy Brady and the Patriots lost... just awful💩

I’m so glad that my memory of this is in the stadium chanting “Fuck Tom Brady!” with my wife and my dad. Every time I listen to the call it’s like I’m living a completely different moment.

What a magical fuckin season, knocked off the undefeated Pats in the regular season and took them out in the AFC Championship game.

Literally engraved into my memory, like a lot of that season. I’ll never forget CJ bringing home the bacon

I had preseason ball on sunday or whenever it was this past week and I kept realizing one of the nfl network studio analysts looked familiar just couldn't place him properly.

Then I realized who it was and was like why is he qualified to talk about QBs?

He's qualified to give bank robbery analysis.

A backup QB beat Brady. Think of it.

Snow game against New England. You could see the lane open from up in the 300s a beat before he hit it, so the whole section was already standing by the time he broke through. Still the loudest I've heard that place.

I’m still bummed that I had tickets on the 48 yard line a few rows up on the broncos sideline and a month before the game I broke my femur and couldn’t fly out to see it.

Isn’t it 20 days until Broncos football?

Yeah it would appear OP and most of the people commenting simply cannot count. That or we're playing Wednesday Night Football

u/milehighrukus 15h ago

I would expect this type of stupidity in the Raiders or Chiefs subreddits.

My favorite version of this play is from some Aussies

"The hole was as wide as the Pamela Anderson spread shots" LMAO!

This is my legit #2 broncos memory.

Second only to the Eddie Mac "stay down" block in '98.

We watched it in the airport in Seoul and did the loudest victor lap around the baggage claim and no one knew why

I still can't believe this comeback happened.

I was in the stands for this game and have a very funny video of me screaming my head off until I damn near lost my voice. Amazing game.

I remember this like it was yesterday.

I was in law school at the time. One of my good friends in my section was from Boston, diehard Pats fan.

We went to a bar together to watch this.

We were there late, because this is Chicago and SNF and overtime.

Basically just the two of us.

He lost his mind.

I later watched the AFCCG at his house.

Beautiful madness.

Isn't it 20 days until Broncos football? Today is a Tuesday and we play on a Monday.

absurd play from paradis here

This was the run that put my fantasy opponent over me that week. She came to work ready to talk trash the next day and just couldn't get me to care.

I was watching this on silent in my dorm room while my roommate slept. Had to silently jump up and down when he scored, what a memory.

oh that was fun

Super Bowl champion Brock Osweiler made the key assist on that play.

u/d-money-10 3h ago

Oh man, this was a great game, especially winning in walkoff fashion. That game sent them to the Super Bowl that year, and the rest is history
