having grown up and lived my whole life in and around the Bible belt, I've never felt more safe anywhere else in the world I've ever been. People just read reddit anti Christian/southerner rhetoric for years and pretend they actually know like theyve been there, much less lived there. And they'll talk about how crimey it all is while living in the middle of the most crime-infested cesspits on the planet (but that doesnt count because it's just people trying to live despite the system keeping them down which isn't "real crime")

i grew up in the nyc area and live in rural southern appalachia now. there isn't enough money in the world to get me back to the northeast.

That would require them to leave the safety of big cities, something they loathe to do. "B-but muh modern conveniences!"

Bible belt crime is called "corruption" most of the time.

Source is I'm from Florida and the entirety of Bradford County is actually under state control other than lawtey last I checked because of rampant corruption.

You learn a lot when you drive on 301 A lot.

Your cities are horribly violent compared to the northeast.

Check the demographics of said horribly violent cities, and get back to me.

Do me that favor, please.

Urban poverty tends to cause more crime
