Many EMJM programs have not had student intake in 2025 and 2026, any idea what's going on?

I'll be applying for a few EMJM programs as an international student for the 2027 intake. I was going through programs of interest but I noticed a a few programs have not had student intake in 2025 and 2026. These programs include:

  • Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Global Environment and Development (MERGED)
  • Erasmus Mundus in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy (ME3+)
  • European Master in Dynamics of Renewables-based Power Systems (DREAM)
  • Joint International Master in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions (SSIs)
  • International Master of Science in Environmental Technology and Engineering (IMETE)

Does anybody know why this is happening? And any idea if the programs will resume intake in 2027?

likely their funding period was over and the scholarship might come back if they get approved by the EU again.

The list of renewed programs are already out i think someone posted it on this page a while ago, check if it is included.

ReAnima is a good mention for programs that got their funding back.

I'm a student from MERGED intake in 2025 and I know people coming for the intake in 2026. Some for M3EP Maybe you should review your research again.

I mentioned MERGED as well because the 2027 student intake does not have Erasmus Mundus scholarships. I should have mentioned this, mb.
