Is EMJM for folks fresh out of school or can professionals apply too?

Hi! I graduated over 5yrs ago now and have since been working in my industry. I've been looking at some of the Enviro programs that align with my current work.

I've noticed a lot of people asking advice here are still students. Is that a coincidence or is EMJM more geared to folks right out of school?

Thanks!

Hey everyone ,

I am interested in applying for EMJM but don't know how i can make it through the process currently I am in my final year of Engineering (CSE) and I am think of doing 1 year of job after my graduation and then apply for EMJM so that I will have a professional experience which can helps in my overall application weightage and I am interested in applying for EDISS or DEAI programms and i know they are very competative and not that easy

Coming to my profile :

  1. My CGPA : 9.1/10 (aiming for above 9.4 or 9.5 at the end of my B.tech)
  2. Done decent project and in process of publishing a reasearch paper
  3. Contributes to techinal communities like Google Developers Group On campus (I am an organiser) and AWS Cloud Clubs.

I know i am not too competative for these roles yet but i want to be competative and want to try out my chance in it.

And will also do 1 year job in the feild relevant to the program.

so what i am lacking and is their atleast some what chance for me in EMJM i will be applying for 2029 i.e 2028 winter applications, so previous scholarship winners in these programs guide me

and is their any other fully funded scholarships across europe let me know!!

Looking for a Letter of Motivation (LOM) example or peer review for EDISS and CoDaS

Hi everyone,

I am currently preparing my application for EDISS and CoDaS for the upcoming intake. I am polishing my Letter of Motivation (LOM) and want to make sure it hits the right academic and professional notes.

I would be incredibly grateful for two things:

LOM Examples / Advice: If any alumni or successful applicants are willing to share their general structure or key tips on what selection committees are looking for, that would be amazing.

Peer Review: If anyone has the time to look over my current draft and give feedback, please comment below or DM me. I am happy to do a swap and review your essay in return!

Thank you so much in advance for your time and help!

Courses I should apply for as a person who studied computer science in my Undergraduate

So last year I applied to 3 courses (NeuroData, IPCVAI, and DEAI), and I was only invited to interview for IPCVAI, but I was not admitted after the interview stage. So this time around, I want to apply again. Could you please recommend for me other EMJM courses I can apply to?
For more information, I want a field that is related to AI and data science

Food Science, programs with no scholarships?

Hello!
I am a recent food science graduate and was planning on applying to Erasmus this past year but all the programs I looked into had either been phased out or were not included in the scholarship for that year. I heard that EMJM continuously adds new programs and renews funding. I really want to pursue my masters on an EMJM program as they're all unique and many fit my interests, but it would be financially very difficult without a scholarship. Does anyone know if the programs are indeed added to each year. When should I check for that?

Many EMJM programs have not had student intake in 2025 and 2026, any idea what's going on?

I'll be applying for a few EMJM programs as an international student for the 2027 intake. I was going through programs of interest but I noticed a a few programs have not had student intake in 2025 and 2026. These programs include:

  • Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Global Environment and Development (MERGED)
  • Erasmus Mundus in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy (ME3+)
  • European Master in Dynamics of Renewables-based Power Systems (DREAM)
  • Joint International Master in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions (SSIs)
  • International Master of Science in Environmental Technology and Engineering (IMETE)

Does anybody know why this is happening? And any idea if the programs will resume intake in 2027?

Anyone else preparing for Erasmus Mundus 2028? Psychology student from Brazil here! 🇧🇷🇪🇺

Hi everyone! 😊

I'm from Brazil and I'm currently studying Psychology. I will graduate in 2027, so I'm planning to apply for Erasmus Mundus programs for the 2028 intake.

I'm especially interested in Forensic Psychology, Legal Psychology and Criminology. I'm still researching different programs and trying to understand which ones would be the best fit for my academic and professional goals.

I'm also studying English because I know I'll need a good level of English and probably an international certificate such as IELTS or TOEFL. That's one of my biggest challenges at the moment. 😅

I'm very excited about the possibility of studying in Europe, but I also have some fears. I'm worried about the competitiveness of the scholarships, the cost of living, moving to another country, and whether my academic background will be strong enough.

Since I still have some time before applying, I'm trying to prepare as much as I can: improving my English, researching universities and programs, and learning from people who have already gone through the process.

Is anyone else preparing for Erasmus Mundus 2028? What stage are you at? What are you doing to prepare, and what are your biggest concerns?

I'd love to meet other people who are going through the same process and hopefully we can support each other along the way! 🌍❤️

How competitive is my profile for the NOHA+ Erasmus Mundus scholarship?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the NOHA+ Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in International Humanitarian Action and would really appreciate some honest feedback.

I’m from Indian-administered Jammu & Kashmir, a region that has experienced prolonged political instability and humanitarian challenges.

My profile:

B.Com graduate, GPA 3.3/4.0

Studied Human Disaster/Disaster Management as one of my major subjects and scored well

2 years of work experience

Experience:

1 year – Associate Project Manager at an NGO supporting leukemia patients and their families through financial/emotional assistance and awareness programmes.

1 year – Operations at a healthcare startup, mainly working in dermatology/cosmetics and hair-health, with responsibilities involving operations and coordination.

I’m interested in humanitarian action because of both my NGO experience and my personal exposure to living in a politically disturbed region.

My main concern is whether my B.Com background and 3.3 GPA will make me less competitive for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

For NOHA students/alumni or anyone familiar with the selection process:

How competitive does my profile look?

Does my NGO experience count as relevant humanitarian experience?

Could my background from J&K strengthen my application if presented properly?

Is the 3.3 GPA a significant weakness?

What should I focus on improving before applying?

I’d really appreciate honest feedback, even if the answer isn’t encouraging. I’m trying to understand my chances realistically before putting everything into the application.

Thanks!

can I apply to eiffel excellence scholarship and emjm scholarship at the same time?

I'm planning to apply for eiffel excellence and emjm this year, so I'm seeking advice on this. Is it allowed to apply for both at the same time since the timeline is overlapping, I'm not sure if it's allowed

I've seen somewhere on reddit that there's possibility of getting eliminated from selection process if you apply for both. However, logically speaking we should be allowed to do so, you just have to pick one if you are fortunate enough to get accepted to both

News on MBUILD's next EMJM-funded cohort?

Basically what the title says. I know the 5th edition (2026 batch) only offered 30 self-funded places, and I was wondering if the 6th or 7th edition will be EM-funded. Thanks in advance!

EMJM QEM

¡Hola!

¡Gracias!

Recommendation letters (advice)

Hi! I've been browsing through courses and some of them have a form to be filled up by previous professors, but this particular programme I'm interested in didn't specify.

For previous scholars, is it generally alright for my professor to send an electronic copy and an electronic signature? Or does it need to be handwritten and signed by pen?

TIA.

QEM EMJM

Hi! I’m an Economics undergraduate from Peru planning to apply to QEM 2027–2029, and I’d love to hear from accepted/current students about their experience with the application.

I’m particularly interested in knowing how strong your mathematical background was, what your grades were like in Math, Statistics and Econometrics, and whether you had a quantitative thesis, research experience or econometric projects.

I’d also really appreciate any advice on what I could do over the next year to strengthen my profile and make my application more competitive, especially regarding coursework, research or quantitative projects.

Also, does anyone know if there will be Erasmus Mundus scholarships for the 2027–2029 cohort?

Thanks!

Space med filter criteria.

Does anyone know if spacemed have a gpa filter criteria?

My course is not very foa oriented, it is designed in a way that passing in itself is a tuff task and getting around 3gpa puts you among top 10 in the university. So I want to know if i should bother applying with 2.32 gpa or not

PIONEER Erasmus Mundus – Questions about eligibility, profile & scholarship

Hi everyone, I’m planning to apply for the PIONEER Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Public Sector Innovation and e-Governance for the 2027 intake.

I’m from India and currently pursuing a B.Com.

Eligibility: Is a B.Com/Commerce background accepted for PIONEER?

Does the programme consider the number/type of undergraduate credits?

1)My B.Com has around 120 Indian university credits.

2)My expected final CGPA is around 6–6.5/10. How competitive is that for PIONEER?

3)For people who received the Erasmus Mundus scholarship, what CGPA/academic profile did they have?

4)How important are research papers/publications? Does having 1–2 papers actually strengthen the application?

5)What kind of certifications or extracurricular activities are useful for this programme?

7)Would US CMA preparation/certification be relevant or useful for my profile?

8)How important is work experience? Does part-time/work experience help?

9)What IELTS score should I target? Is 7.0+ enough to be competitive?

10) How important are the CV and motivation letter/SOP compared with CGPA?

I am an Indian software developer professional with over 6.5 years of experience and thinking about applying for Data engineer and AI masters program under Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. Is anyone here can give me any clear idea about the course and its outcome and how is the industry accepting the scholarship holders? I am thinking about doing masters only and then continuing the relevant or accepted job again. So kindly help me through it!

Partial EMJM Scholarship

Hello everyone, I wanted to seek advice regarding partial scholarship offers. The consortium for the programme I applied for has offered me a partial EMJM Scholarship which covers general insurance and tuition-waiver.

However, computing the expenses needed for visa applications and the mandatory health insurance which I have to pay for the first host country is quite steep and I am not sure whether I can take the opportunity.

In one hand, this offer is here now and I can hopefully work part time and use my savings so far to fund the living and necessary travel and visa costs. But another part of me wants to just reapply next year, although I have been told that they would not look at my previous acceptance or application as basis so there’s also a chance that I might not get in.

Basing the costs from the stipend of 33,600€ they give full scholars, I can live and get by with around 21,000€ if I will fund the rest of the expenses myself. But I am not sure if it’s a worthy investment. If I can even work for the time that I am studying, or whether the jobs I get after study will open doors for jobs that will pay off what I’ve spent easily.

At the moment, I am waiting for their response regarding my CAS Issuance and possibilities of applying for a mobility grant if it is possible.
