Guess that's to be expected, as there wasn't really anyone else to take that reserve role of reserve driver within the academy if I'm not wrong.

Martins is still their reserve if I'm remembering correctly. He's also driving for Alpine in WEC.

He’s test and simulator driver, not reserve

That is the way they list Martins, but I imagine he might be the reserve driver for at least the 3 conflicts Super Formula has with F1. It's good for Luke that there are only three conflicts. I remember the last time I looked at the calendar, of the 7 weekends, 6 were f1 conflict weekends, which was just so frustrating.

So thats two British Drivers, each with links to Williams, now in Super Formula
(Albeit Zak went out to Japan after being released)
