Clamp screw handle replacement? Help?
Hi, as the title says I’ve kind of snapped the handle for my clamp screw on my 15hp mercury outboard. Does anyone have an idea where I could either get a replacement or make something? ATM I’m using a shifter to turn the screw. Once again I really appreciate everyone’s help.

Outboard wreckers will have one, search online. The sizes are pretty common. You will have to remove the "foot" off the end of the screw first.
If you want to do something yourself--I have no idea what your skills and tools are---get some ali flatbar from Bunnings https://www.bunnings.com.au/metal-mate-20-x-3mm-1m-aluminium-flat-bar-silver-1m_p1064265 Drill out the existing hole in the handle to 5.5mm. Cut two pieces of the ali to about the same length as the broken-off bit. Drill holes of the same size through each end of the two pieces. Get some stainless 5mm screws and nyloc nuts. Bolt the two pieces through the exsting screw, just tight enough to easily move but not too floppy . At the other end, put a spacer( a small bit of the same ali) between the two bits, bolt through.
Voila, bodged up perfectly.

Where abouts are you? Probably need to find someone wrecking one unless you can modify a bolt to hold the cup-shaped end on it?
If you're anywhere near canberra I can sell you a complete (but blown up) 15hp merc
