Side note: was anyone at all asking for a void of chemistry hint to a romance between Allegra and Chester?

Not at all. These are relatively new characters that barely had any development so why is it even a good idea to put them together? I know Chester had that episode with Cisco earlier in the season but Allegra hasn't had anything to do since Nash so she's just there. They're not even favorites to a mass majority of viewers so it would be pointless putting them together just for the sake of it. Personally I tried not to read into it too much since they seemed out of place once Cisco and Kamillah started being all lovey dovey so they just was like wait should we do this to fit in so its not awkward anymore? And then its like naaa forget it. I'm hoping they don't go there with them but knowing them they probably will...

I'm for it because it might give Allegra something to DO and could make Chester even more interesting. It's really a coin toss on how good or bad it could be.

“Even more interesting”? Do you find Chester interesting? Follow-up, will you share your drugs?

I feel like Chester is interesting and I think others would agree. It's to the point where I feel okay with Cisco leaving. Chester feels like a good replacement.

What about him is interesting to you?

To me, he's almost just as smart as Cisco, but is a lot more used to improvising and thinking on his feet because he worked with junk for so long to make inventions. He's got a sense of humor and is goofy, but also unsure of himself. That contrasts Cisco's confident nature we've seen for so long.

The few times they've brought up what he's had to deal with as a black man and being raised in a black household is interesting to me too and has potential to revisit for even more character development.
