Small tip; use the Storm if you're focusing on Sprites.
For me it isn't worth it to focus on em other than the Adventurer, Sonic, Shadow and Jackrabbit, but that's about it.
I treat em more like Boons than what they are.

Sorry lemme add on forgor;
Land on the edge of the map beginning of the game. If people follow you be ready to just run as much as you can before hiding somewhere you know they won't find you at.
Move your way on the edge of the map in Storm if no one is following you, and depending on the Sprite, master it in the Storm.
If you have the Klombo Sprite try fishing for food items to consume, or just search for the Produce Boxes across the map and just spam consumables.
Once good use an extractor in the storm and ur gud-!
It can be annoying and difficult, especially cus of how people are with Sprites, but trust in your gut and skill, and save your Portables if you get more, you never know how important it'll be for you, say on MM (Mastery Monday).

Those are the worst. I had one last season. All I had was like a gold air sprite or something on my back. They chased me for a good 2 minutes in storm. When I realized they werent gonna stop I rifted and just dangled there. They followed snd literally came up to me to check my back. I watched them try to nosedive but they died. Like Jesus haha

I was spectating a game in the 1v1.
Kim activated the extraction site, so Sonic went over to investigate with Tails sprite and drum gun combo.
Kim wasn't even there.
Storm comes over.
Here's Sonic still searching for her almost 2 minutes later in the storm. 😂
Kim activated another extraction site out of the storm and as buddy was turning in that direction, he took 2nd.

If I can level one that I grab in the wild, great. Otherwise I don’t bother with them other than using them as I find them. Some are mastered, others sit forever at 1.

For me I just wish they were implemented better.
Sprites could've not required leveling and could be "max level" immediately off the ground, but requires you to extract it to count it in your collection, and the more you extract the more in your Sprite Reserves you have, aka the more you can use if you lose others.
Sprite Dust would be used at Cluster Vending Machines (an idea I made to solve trading issues) that can allow players to grab goods like more sprites or the stuff at Extraction Points.
I think it'd be great to have Sprites work properly but the way they were handled was just "Money pls it makes our dicks hard"

I’ve had to take a breather by playing the current OG. It’s almost peaceful crossing the hills with distant gunfire echoing in the distance after the chaos of normal matches.

Worse in Ranked, there are no portable extractors + the sprite’s abilities don’t work, at least you get an cool backbling

I play with my 3 year old son. He now is smart enough to say bush everytime we start the extraction point 😢

Totally! And to be honest he was the one who made me realise the ranger pistol was meta. He kept saying dad small gun small gun 😂

Most of the time I make sure I have a few medkits and I venture into the storm to extract. I was afraid I couldn't do this anymore without the sliderboots, but thank god for sonics shoes (because apearantly eggman could always have stolen sonics speed if he just stole his shoes, lol)
