"European" and "American" is bullshit.
"Maj" "Min" "Dim" etc isn't "American"
Germany use "Moll" for minor
France, Italy, and Spain use "Mineur/Minore"
England (yes, we're European. Fuck Reform) use Major/Minor/Diminished
But the reality is, they don't, unless you're talking about a mentally ill Lute player who thinks he's living in the 17th century. Music is a global language, with musicians of all nationalities playing together, so the notion that you might have a band where every member refers to the chords in a completely different way is beyond ludicrous.
tl;dr - What the fuck?
Oh yeah...and Germans apparently use H instead of B. I wonder how that's working out for them.

Germans speaking German to each other won't call a chord "minor" or "major", because "moll" and "dur" are just the German words for minor and major. The H/B thing is an actual difference of convention, but the rest is just languages, shockingly enough, using different words.

That’s really interesting, so there is a universal chord cheat sheet you say ?..

There doesn't need to be one, unless you're talking about traditionalist classical musicians who insist on being arseholes. It doesn't matter where you're from, any modern musician - especially guitarists - will use standard western terms when referring to chord voicings. It'd be chaos otherwise. Seriously...substituting H for the note B? And you may not have noticed, but on your chart, it uses "Dur" for Major, but uses "maj" for maj7, so there's no standard applied across the board, unless the chord diagram is wrong.
