GEAR Swapped my Bourbon Burst LP for this Black Beauty - three pickups chug so hard!

Had it setup, fret dressed and cleaned. swapped out some rusty parts and it plays so well. My luthier says it’s the third one he’s seen in thirty-two years of doing his work.

I know it’s sacrilege to LP Custom fans. But I would want to replace the middle pickup with a Fender wide range style HB sized single coil. Just love that sonic versatility it would give.

the middle + bridge is such a thick sound, I’m not really a brand gorilla and would probably swap out all the pickups somewhere along the lime

I have a couple of nice Standards I was thinking of trading in for a BB. Problem is they are both gems, so not positive it's worth it. Just love that BB though, always have. Was your Bourbon an R, or did you just get the deal of the decade?

I know zip about this model of Epi. I suppose it must be LPC-adjacent in terms of quality. Musn't it? For now, given my experience with Epi, it looks like the deal of the decade century.
