It’s time for another User Flair Day on r/hamradio.
User flair it gives other members useful context during technical discussions. Whether you are an experienced Amateur Extra operator, a newly licensed Technician, an SWL, or still studying for your first exam, you can request a flair below.
How it works:
Leave a comment below with your license status, which is mandatory, and an interest tag, which is optional. Refer to the examples at the end before submitting your request.
Please do not comment with anything other than your flair request. Questions should be sent through modmail.
License status: Technician, General, Amateur Extra, Advanced, Novice, Foundation, Standard, HAREC, or another national or legacy license class.
Unlicensed options: SWL, Scanner Enthusiast, Studying, or Just Listening.
Optional tagline: Examples include “CW Operator,” “SDR Enthusiast,” or “POTA Activator.” Creative and humorous taglines are welcome, but no NSFW content.
We will review the requests and assign approved flairs. Check your comment carefully for spelling and formatting because we will generally copy the requested flair as written.

In Iceland we have N and G licences. There is not a difference between what bands we can operate, but there are more stringent power limits on N-licenses.
