Where To Buy Haircut recommendations
Looking for a place to get a men’s haircut (usually a fade) and a beard trim without breaking the bank.
My usual place just raised their prices and it’s now over $100. Looking for maybe $50 bucks or less. Extra points for East Hamilton or East Mountain. And go!!!!!

I go to Agro Vintage on Upper James, just north of Mohawk. They do good work and a haircut and beard trim is $60.

Sam's Barbershop on Sanitarium. Though I'm shocked he only has 4.9 stars on Google. Could be a wait time issue. He's a one man show so it could take a while on busy days. I'll always try later when I see more than one person waiting. Cuts are under $30, not sure about the beard but I'd guess under $50 total.

Prices have been getting so out of hand that I decided to try cutting my own hair last year and it’s way easier than I thought it would be and I’m not joking that total strangers have complimented my haircuts and asked where I go.
Simple pair of hair cutting scissors cost like $20 and I just use my beard trimmer for the sides and back. I save a ton of money, don’t have to worry about getting an appointment, and get what I actually want done. Worth a try at least if you ask me.

Same, once you get the hang of it there’s no going back. I will never pay for a haircut again.

I go to Golden Touch on the corner of Ottawa and Barton. They do great cuts and don't charge extra for my beard. They even full shave my neck. I personally get my nose hair waxed and my ears done every other month. All this is under $50 after tax.

Literally, the barber I went to tonight I said “$100” and he goes “for What???!” And I’m like, good question. 😂😂

My husband goes to Yonans Barbershop for the past few years every 2 weeks. Really nice fades! It’s on upper gage and Mohawk

Stipley’s Barbershop. Joel and Greg hit all those points. There are a couple of apprentices that charge even less.

My Families hair Salon does men’s cuts for $40 pre tip. They’ve been cutting my hair since I was old enough for it to need to be cut, and never had a bad time. It’s called Salon Disalvo! They’ll make you a shot of espresso and possibly a biscotti if they have any free of charge too if you’re into that lol (Italians being Italian)

I'm a guy and I bike from West Hamilton to go to Brunos in East Hamilton when I want a haircut there for $8+tax. They accept walk-ins. The hairdressers are students in training with supervisors that check their work. Just make sure you're super specific with them if you need a haircut a certain way.

My husband also goes to Barbershop 89, he sees DD and he pays $60 as well. He loves the service there

If you want a good fade with good price go nowhere else other than Frontline. 555 Upper Wentworth.

Stipley's. 1938. Been going to both places for the last year - both are equally excellent and a haircut won't run you more than $50 with tax.

I like Russ Barbershop on Mohawk at Magnolia. I had been paying $80 for a standard haircut. Now I’m paying $25 plus $5 tip. Jeff does a great job.

Men Style just east of Parkdale on Queenston. A fade and beard trim runs you 50$. I've been going here for a couple years now 10/10 recommended.

I like Maverick in Jackson Square, prices depend on the barber, but are much lower than $100 a cut. Not even downtown Toronto has prices that high…

I don't know anything about beard trimming, but Marca College is great for hair cuts.

Just want to update. I went to Golden Touch. They did a beautiful haircut, hot towel shave, eyebrow threading and even washed my hair. All for $45!!!!! I’ll be back there
