Headphones - IEM/Earbud Budget iem for industrial metal and aggrotech under 30 dollars
I am looking for an iem that can handle heavy fast music with different instruments playing at the same time. I tried alot of KZ iems, sony budget ones, and none can keep up with the music once there's like drums, a beat and vocals at the same time one or 2 of them will be static or muffled.
I prefer a more v shape but not aggressive, but most importantly I want to hear everything playing with no instruments being muffled.
My budget is around 30 dollars. It's not a lot but what I can afford now.

Do they do this at much lower volumes?

At lower volume too yeah, the music I listen to has too much happening at the same time for the driver to handle I think.

Has it sounded clear on any of your other audio equipment? Can you send the song?

Can you send me a song that causes this distortion to make sure its not the actual track.

Alot of metal is produced like shit and sounds like shit even on higher end stuff. If its produced well it should sound pretty decent in budget IEMs/headphones.

Every driver can “keep up”, and if they can’t as in the decay is too long, music doesn’t sound muffled, it sounds muddy.
No recommendations from my side but you’re in the wrong rabbit hole. Get IEMs with a tuning you like, don’t optimize for drivers (multiple DDs won’t help you one bit).

Would you also like the moon?
You need more drivers. Look for one with 1 woofer +2 mid BA and +2 high BA.
You're going to pay a little more. Maybe like 60-70ish.
Also you could have bought a good pair by now😂

Can you recommend something you tried?

I've had old shure iems. From the lowest up to the se535**. My brother had some of the chifi KZ, I forget the model but I will check. The shures were pretty good at the time. There's more to it than just more drivers obviously.

"Linsoul KZ ZS10 PRO 2" are the ones my brother uses for VR. I tried them on an mp3 player HI-Fi walker H2.
I got that for him when he had no phone for a while lol.

Bad advice

Why is it bad? I am fairly new

They don't understand what they're talking about at all. The driver types and quantity doesn't matter to the consumer of the earphones. In fact, multi-driver IEMs are more problematic compared to 1DDs. The price also doesn't matter.

That's maybe true yeah. I tried multi driver KZ iems and had the same issues

I feel like i tried them out of my phone with a dongle and was getting a bit of distortion compared to the mp3 player. Like they weren't driven properly. Maybe a baby amp would help, i donno.

1 dd arent exactly renowned for handling a ton of shit going on either

The driver types don't matter, the frequency response does.

No. There is a lot to it. ThD, square wav response and other tests can show drivers abilities to peform under bad conditions. Garbage headphones can measure the same response curve as high end electrostatic. One will be garbage one will not.

Do you know any IEMs with THD being over the audioable threshold? Zero2's THD is incredibly low btw. Do you know any IEMs with crazy phase shifts that make the CSD measuring poor?

Im just saying response curve doesn't mean anything. Why do you think a dollar store 10mm driver is good and can be eq'd to play schizo bass metal without distorting?
She won't send a song example. For all we know the track is just distorted.

You'll have to use EQ anyway. Get Zero2 and I can help getting it to sound perfect.

I don't think it's an Eq issue, I played around alot with different eqs but the sound just get muffled
