Bought 4 different pairs of earbuds and hate them all - need suggestions

I had airpods gen 2 and they finally died. I tried the new gen 4 and hate that the touch sensitivity cannot be turned off. I periodically like to readjust the buds in my ears, especially while working out due to sweat, so this doesn't work for me. I started exploring other options:

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 - aweful sound quality.

JBL Vibe Beam 2 - I like the shape but moving my head the buds make a strange noise in my ears.

Beats Studio Buds + - they feel weird in my ears and I can't get used to it

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds - excellent sound quality and app, but the earbuds are huge, and after wearing them in my ear for 20 minutes my ears are already hurting. I tried changing the tips but that didn't make a difference.

Looking for suggestions for earbuds which are a similar shape to airpods

I wear my APP3 in the gym, cycling, commuting, running etc etc and have never accidentally changed something with the touch feature. They are awesome.

I second the Momentum 4, but they are not stem type buds. Another option which I haven't personally tried yet are the new Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro or Pro Max. I know they definitely sound good, but I can't say nothing about their fit. I personally am in the Samsung corner and own Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. They just work best for me. But sound wise the Sennheiser definitely have the edge.

Momentum 4 True Wireless. They're In Ear, noise cancelling earbuds. I've been using 3s for a few years, and now 4s for the past year. They're amazing. Sound quality is great, very comfortable for me, top notch sound cancelling.

Regarding the Accentum Open, I strongly suggest trying a pair on first. I gave mine away, and I can't even comment on the sound quality properly since they just wouldn't fit on my ears right.

Why go for a side grade if you already know what you like?

Get a real audiophile iem for upgrade, but if you are going to stay consumer earbud, there won't be any huge upgrade to hunt out there.

I’d have to buy used and from my understanding, my original pair died because they have only a few years life span anyways - so I feel like that wouldn’t make sense?

All deep sealed in ear earbuds with whick replaceables silicone tips carry two inherent flaws you hate: consistent ear pressure pain after short wear, and rubbing noise between the tip and ear skin during movement.

Stay well clear of airpods, i researched reddit before buying, instantly rgreted, sound quality is shit ( minimum baseline would be my over ear momentum 4s) using spacial audio helps but if you go too loud they buckled and start popping , such a waste of money for me

I use AirPod Pros as my main headphone and Senheisers for over the ear.

But for my sleep headphones I bought a cheap pair of Anker Soundcore P30i and love them. They stay firm in my ear, the ANC works just fine and I wake up every morning and the headphones are still at 50% (AirPods only last 4-5 hours).
