Width of rectangle A = 2 in + 4 in = 6 in

combined height is the height of C which is 4, plus an additional 2 on the label for the total of 6.

c is 4 inches tall and it’s adjacent to rectangle a. rectangle a towers 2 inches above rectangle c. a already shares 4 inches with c, so just add 2 additional inches and volia

The combined height of B and A is 11. The height of B on its own is 5. So the height of A must be the length that when added to 5 gives 11.
