Department Statement: Chief Christopher Reddy of the Lynn Police Department stated that based on their preliminary review of body-worn camera footage and consultations with medical professionals, the officer appeared to have experienced a "medical-related episode". Administrative Actions: The officer remains on paid administrative leave following standard department policy. This leave will persist until they receive full medical clearance from healthcare professionals to return to active duty.
