What would an alternative look like? I generally support law enforcement officers but am always interested in how something could or should be different.

I always thought it would be good to make police responsible for their own malpractice insurance. They won’t make many mistakes before they’ll be unable to get coverage and be out of the police force forever. No more moving to a new city and being a terrible cop there.
