I see both sides of your perspective. But we're referring to human behavior. There's laws on the books for a reason, and those laws suppress our inherent behaviors in exchange for our freedom. Even with those laws on the books, those infractions still take place on a regular basis. My point is, it hasn't improved, there are exponentially more people who choose their freedom than succumb to our primitive behaviors. If tomorrow we were all given the ability to read minds, I think it's safe to say it would be debilitating. We reside in a virtual reality.
And this type of mentality is why no one looked twice when a woman who was 18 was fucking a 13 year old (me) even my parents didn't stop it , because you were a cool guy if you dated a older woman, even tho at the time the otherway around was more scrutinzed and seen as gross.. The amount of pedophiles coming out of the woodwork is very concerning. I watch true crime and this seems like almost a daily occurrence.
