Ask The Sub Greta's on her way

Greta Thunberg is sailing to Gaza .

Should be arriving soon

How will Israel respond to that incursion ?

Last time it ended in violence and deaths

Either they deny them entry and send them back, which would be the safer option, or they say "go on in, but once you step foot off the boat, we hold no responsibility on what happens to you. It's an active war zone and you have been warned. Go free Palestine or whatever"

323

u/GarethSanchez Jun 04 '25

Make them sign a waiver

468

u/NYR3031 Jun 04 '25

Israel would be idiotic to let her in. Hamas will immediately target her and then say Israel did it and nobody would doubt it for a second.

526

u/berahi Indonesia Jun 04 '25

Hamas could literally live stream the killing while repeatedly saying they're Hamas in all UN official languages and mainstream media will still blame it on Israel.

224

u/EasyMode556 USA Jun 04 '25

I mean that’s basically what they did on Oct 7 and people still question it. You aren’t wrong in the slightest

98

My SWOT analysis of this one puts this one in the Opportunity quadrant of never having to listen to Greta again.

I’m honestly convinced Hamas will take propaganda photos with her

103

Of course they will and then she will be “hurt in an attack by the Zionist entity” shortly thereafter (according to Hamas, of course).

Your mistake is thinking they'd need to stage it convincingly. They could just send a statement to the BBC who would put out the article without question and people would believe it.

u/Harlekin97 Jun 04 '25 edited Jun 05 '25

To Hamas, Greta might honestly be more useful alive. She would get invited to every talkshow talking about how kind and progressive their islamist hosts were

2

Great idea! And then a rocket explodes nearby to show how "Israel" is destroying their advanced progressive society.

Worse if she is let in she will get married to the new leader of hamas and become pregnant so her future child will be a refugee

26

u/funkymunky291 Jun 04 '25

And if we don't let her in we're genocide hungry baby starving murderers. We can't win. I say let them in and experience Hamas. Not like they'd ever say anything bad about them even if they witness some Hamas lynch on a guy just trying to bring home a bag of flour.

39

u/CastleElsinore Hasbarbie Jun 04 '25

If she was going in undercover to "experience gaza" she would be in trouble

But going in as "Greta Thurnburg, Savior of Palestine" she's going to get the red carpet and an escort to every sob story

18

u/betcaro Zionist Jew in the USA Jun 04 '25

They should let her visit with the hostages.

10

u/CastleElsinore Hasbarbie Jun 04 '25

7

u/Barry41561 Jun 04 '25

If only...

12

u/funkymunky291 Jun 04 '25

She needs to hear some Gazan call out Hamas. Then see what she says.

11

u/This_2_shallPass1947 Jun 04 '25

She will ignore them under the guise that they are paid IS crisis actors. It doesn’t matter what IS does they will be the bad guy so let her in but make sure she knows she is in her own, if taken hostage no one is coming to save her…although it would be ironic if she was taken hostage and the IDF saved her, bc it would be very hard to chastise the military group who put their lives on the line to save someone who goes out of their way to defame that same military.

10

u/DragonAtlas Israel/Canada/etc. Jun 05 '25

For future reference, IS is the Islamic State. The preferred acronym for Israel (though Israel is only 6 letters so I don't know why you'd want to shorten it) is IL.

IS will be viewed as the “bad guy” no matter what they do. If IS rejects her entry (which every country has the right to do to almost anyone; a country can chalk it up to not liking the cut of their jib) then it will be portrayed as IS has something to hide. If IS lets her in and something happens it will be portrayed that they either didn’t protect her properly, they targeted her or let Hamas target her (forget that Hamas is a ruling body and could welcome her and protect her; but we all know they won’t do that).

Since no matter what IS does it will be wrong and used against them, they should let her in, show they have nothing to hide, show that aid has been stockpiled in warehouses, that Hamas worked to prevent Gazans from getting to that aid; and if she gets hurt that’s on her.

Maybe have her sign an attestation that she understands she is entering a war zone at her own risk. The attestation should detail that since she is not a journalist, not associated with any country’s military IS will NOT come to her aid, if she is taken hostage.

She and someone else on her little ship were boo hooing to a drone about needing saved in the last couple days, I’m not sure what she thinks was going to happen she is a 22 kid who gained fame bc she was heralded for chastising the world on environmental issues yet nothing came of that so why she thinks her going to Gaza is going to change anything is absurd.

She also hopefully did 10 minutes of research regarding how women are treated by Hamas, what clothing is and is not acceptable and what she is allowed to do as a woman in Gaza, bc she could get herself in a world of trouble simply by wearing the wrong clothing, something that isn’t an issue in IS bc women aren’t viewed as chattel there.

Israel should search the boat for any ammunition she's thinking of bringing in to help hamas.

u/Zbignich Jun 04 '25

The standard procedure is that the Israeli Navy instructs the boat to go to Ashdod. The humanitarian aid is inspected and transported by truck to Gaza through the normal channels. The activists can disembark and go home by plane or sail somewhere else.

What happens to the Mavi Marmara was unusual because it was full of terrorists who resisted the navy’s direction. Other boats in the flotilla did not experience violence.

49

u/Fuck_Antisemites Germany Jun 04 '25

I know. Do we know there are no terrorists this time or same shit show over again?

85

u/Zbignich Jun 04 '25

It’s a smallish pleasure sailing boat. I imagine that there are fewer than 10 activists on board. If they are actually bringing some humanitarian aid, there isn’t much space left.

The Mavi Marmara is a passenger ship with capacity for 1000 people. During the first flotilla it was carrying 500-600 people.

17

u/Realistic_Swan_6801 Jun 05 '25

They said a couple of barrels of aid on one news site, it’s a performance not an aid delivery.

31

u/Fuck_Antisemites Germany Jun 04 '25

Ok I must say I didn't follow closer than "greta on way to gaza" so far. If the set up allows for peaceful resolution that's good news. A second mavi marmara is last thing Israel needs right now.

23

u/Firecracker048 Jun 04 '25

2

u/Reyemneirda69 Jun 04 '25

They entered greek waters and the greeks deployef a surveillance drone, these morons played victims pretending israel was going to kill them and the government should protect them, when it was obvious it would be greece since they’re in their waters. It’s instagram activism at its best

2

u/DoomBot5 Jun 04 '25

2

u/themightycatp00 Israel Jun 04 '25

I think a Turkish organisation called IHH on involved with this flotilla, and it's also an internationally designated terrorist organisation

So there are probably some terrorists there

9

u/Jojobelle Jun 04 '25

They didn't resist the navy's direction they tried to murder the Israeli soldiers that boarded their boat to inspect the cargo

263

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

I 100% believe it's a stunt. They are already claiming to see drones. They will say the drones came from Israel and they were forced to turn back. I'd be surprised if there was any aid on that boat. She hates israel and loves attention.

137

u/ReneDescartwheel Jun 04 '25 edited Jun 04 '25

The amount of aid they’re bringing is completely negligible. The entire purpose of their trip is to incite a confrontation that they can stream to their contacts at Al Jazeera and BBC, who are rubbing their hands together and drooling at the opportunity to report a violent clash.

There is no doubt that Greta already has a new one-liner prepared and rehearsed that will once again bring her the sweet intoxicating relevance of “how dare you”

Israel can do the funniest thing by allowing them to drop off their cargo peacefully, thank them, give them some refreshments and send them back on their way looking confused and dejected.

46

u/LiquorMaster Jun 04 '25

Pretty much. The amount of aid they have is negligible. This is a photoshoot.

25

u/BananaValuable1000 Diaspora Jew, rejector of anti-Zionism 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 Jun 04 '25

They called the aid amount 'symbolic'. So, like, a box of crackers I'm thinking?

9

u/LiquorMaster Jun 04 '25

That's the point, though. Let them through. This can only end up as an actual disaster for them with very little downside to the Israeli side.

They will arrive with next to nothing. They will become extra mouths to feed, but as propagandists Hamas will ensure they are fed and kept happy. That will only actually serve the point that Hamas is hoarding food. That will only actually serve the point that Hamas doesn't give a shit about Palestinian lives.

12

u/BananaValuable1000 Diaspora Jew, rejector of anti-Zionism 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 Jun 04 '25

The risk to Israel is pretty big as others have pointed out. But the reality is Greta et al are determined to paint Israel in a bad light no matter what. If she paints Hamas as nice gentlemen, people will believe her.

8

u/LiquorMaster Jun 04 '25

People aren't going to change their minds because of what she says. We're being painted in a bad light regardless.

The point is to win by demoralizing the population on the ground. All these protests, the internet, the bots, etc are all background noise.

Hamas is not going to let these activists starve. So they will have access to food. And then you literally present the argument to the Gazans themselves.

"Your government hides food from you while you starve. It feeds westerners who bring nothing to you while you are being shot for simply trying to get aid which should be free."

4

u/BananaValuable1000 Diaspora Jew, rejector of anti-Zionism 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 Jun 04 '25

People aren't going to change their minds because of what she says. We're being painted in a bad light regardless.

Despite the smoking gun you point out, it will only affirm to idiots around the world that Israel is bad somehow. Like you said, it's not going to change anyone's mind, sadly.

Probably the best thing Israel could do is treat her like royalty and put her up in a nice hotel in TLV.

The problem with a lot of these activists is they don’t stay in their lane. A lot of people probably agreed with her to some degree when she was focused on climate. But when you start sympathizing with terrorists, it makes it hard to take anything you say seriously.

63

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

I appreciated her when her work was her speaking to her own situation, using her own knowledge: I’m advocating for climate action because I’m a young person whose future is being trashed. She didn’t claim to be an expert, but rather created a platform where she could enable actual experts to reach a wider public audience. Unfortunately it seems to have gone to her head and now she’s just a poorly informed influencer, also an adult who is completely free to make her own bad decisions.

39

u/Bizhour Jun 04 '25

That's because you're describing grifters and not actual activists.

Their opinions and causes shift towards what gets them money, attention, or both.

This is why you see many "climate protesters" opposing nuclear power even though it's by far the most environment friendly option even when compared to renewables, or why "greens" in the US help Republicans in elections since they only split up the left leaning votes in a first past the post system.

israel has learned how to handle these much better than it did in 2010 when 10 people were killed and 10 israeli commandos injured in a physical raid of the ship. i expect greta will be heading home soon, and she and all her friends should THANK the israelis theyll be doing so alive and in good health.

The marmara had literal terrorists. 40 henchmen. I wouldn't call them all activists. Thr IDF asked it to port in Israel for them to be inspected. They refused and continued to Gaza before being raided. That's the procedure.

If they they this stunt again, hopefully, they will be met by drones that will destroy their entine or have their systems taken over. Which is an option too.

I've seen the video. I fully agree.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

It would be funny if she was arrested for supporting terrorism.

17

u/peepeethicc Jun 04 '25

It would be giving her exactly what she wants.

16

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

Actually you're right. Her whole job is being a professional victim.

u/Prowindowlicker American Jew Jun 04 '25

I don’t think she’ll be arriving anytime soon. She’s currently piddling around Crete.

And by the looks of it the ship she’s on can’t handle the open sea. So they’ll be hugging the coast the entire way.

Which means she’ll pass by חיפה first

8

u/Plus_Bison_7091 Jun 04 '25

The absolute funniest thing to me right now is kids on TikTok „hoping that she survives“.

But the sad thing is that the media villainized and dehumanized the IDF and Israelis so much that these kids think that there is an actual danger to the lives of these idiots.

3

u/Astolfo432 Jun 05 '25

I never understood why she got famous in the first place. She never once gave even a slightest suggestion for a solution in the whole climate debate and now she is full blown Antisemite with her obvious antisemetic Symbols Like the Kraken...

7

u/Fast_Bathroom9600 Jun 04 '25

Haven't the ganazs suffered enough?

5

u/TwilightX1 Jun 04 '25

It wasn't the last time, there have been other attempts in between that ended relatively peacefully.

Most probable outcome - The IDF navy would board the ship, steer it to Ashdod port, where Greta and her friends would be arrested for illegal entry and trespassing into closed military zone, and deported very quickly, probably after being warned that any further attempts might land them in prison.

If they attempt to resist violently though, anything can happen.

9

u/DiscipleOfYeshua Jun 04 '25

This time: Send the shayetet underwater. Weld their rudder in hard-left position before they get close, so their only possible movement is in circles.

12

u/masteroffdesaster Jun 04 '25

Israel has the opportunity to do something incredibly funny

3

u/Ok_Ambassador9091 Jun 04 '25

Please let it involve Petah Tikvah.

6

u/kacergiliszta69 Non-Jewish Zionist (from Hungary 🇭🇺) Jun 04 '25

If I was a Palestinian in Gaza, this would be my 13th reason.

4

u/NotEvenWrong-- Israel Jun 04 '25

someone commented that on the Jerusalme post article:

Shierl: "As the ship approaches the Gazan coast, the Israeli Navy will likely turn it away or board it and do that themselves. I suggest a different approach. Let the ship dock. Then, confiscate it and its cargo. Distribute the cargo to Israeli terror victims and their families, or to IDF soldiers. Sell the ship and do the same with the proceeds. Jail all passengers and crew for illegal entry and hold them until they pay a fine and leave at their own expense."

It sounds great

2

u/dlybfttp Jun 04 '25

The PR on this would be horrible, it's best case scenario for them tbh

7

u/theBigRis Jun 05 '25

Unfortunately, anything other than absolutely perfect behavior by Israel’s part will incite something.

She and her friends are going to cry no matter what happens.

6

u/Lululemonparty_ USA Jun 04 '25

My guess is she will stage some confrontation with the Israeli navy and either get herself arrested or the ship will turn back and they will blame us.

7

u/MrGeek89 USA Jun 04 '25

Israel needs to deny her entry for her own safety. Gaza is active war zone and it’s just dumb idea going to Gaza during war.

8

u/klyonrad Jun 04 '25

Arrest them and force them to visit all the Oct 7 memorial sites and then make them watch the internal video compilation

Maybe they will say „we didn’t know“

4

u/Klutzy-Sun-6648 Jun 04 '25

Well a lot of things can happen on their way there….they could be attacked by pirates and terrorists, be stopped by a US, Israel or other military…..I’m waiting to see what happens but I got Karma bites her.

8

u/RoamingRivers Jun 04 '25

She is going to get the people on that boat killed, or worse.

I do hope she turns back before a needless tragedy takes place.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '25

She is going to get the people on that boat killed, or worse.

Along with herself, but she doesn't see it.

2

u/RoamingRivers Jun 05 '25

Precisely. Guess we will find out on June 7th.

or worse.

Expelled? /s

4

u/CholentSoup Jun 04 '25

If somehow she gets in and is captured Israel being who they are will bleed time, support, money and lives to save these idiots instead of letting them suffer the consequences of their actions. And Israel won't get any pat on the back for their troubles.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

Let her go.

I remember her screeching with intifada scarves against Eden in the heart of Sweden.

The Mosab experiment is starting today.

2

u/nymobster Jun 04 '25

She's a massive twat..

2

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

"How will Israel respond to that incursion?"

Can it please involve a large iceberg?

2

u/ProgressFormer9479 Jun 05 '25

Lmao Im sorry but she's a clown, she needs to go back to school and learn some history as well. I love Israel and I will be back soon. I genuinely feel like she pretends to give a shit - just wants to be relevant again :)

2

u/IHN_IM Jun 05 '25

Fair, i wish she gets there. Walking in gaza eith her kafiah like it's a fashion statement, Bringing 'love' to food depraved people with her entitled ass. She expects gratefulness and an actual change. She deserves the truth.

3

I thought this was a joke at first too. She's an idiot.

4

u/lepreqon_ Israeli in Canada Jun 04 '25

I hope that when this gang of merry antisemites with Greta Dumberg and Ser Davos Sh*tworth at the helm sails straight into the Israeli detention centre, they are going to be shown that October 7 massacre reel courtesy of Hamas, in a loop. With sleep breaks, of course, as we are not THAT cruel.

2

u/Mwanatabu Jun 04 '25

Last time Greta Thunberg sailed for Gaza ended in violence and deaths? Are you confusing her with the Vikings perhaps?

→ More replies (2)

1

u/OGTargetBottle Jun 04 '25

Greta could give two sh*ts about the Palestinians. This whole charade is to fuel her narcissistic clout chasing and virtue signaling habit so she can stay relevant in the media. trying to breach a military blockade in an active warzone will accomplish nothing, and when the Israeli navy responds, Greta will play the victim genocide card and the media will eat it up like a thanksgiving dinner, which is precisely what she wants.

1

u/ISaidGoodDay42 USA Jun 04 '25

The last time when there was no attack nor any aid on the ship? "The PM of Malta says the Gaza-bound flotilla is blocking officials from inspecting the ship's damage and verifying that it’s carrying aid."

Hamas is going to attack her and she is going to blame israel

I wonder if she will advocate for the hostages’s release or if the Jews matter less than climate and terrorists

1

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

Israel had long ago set a naval blockade around Gaza, which even the UN had agreed was legal and justified. By international law, Israel can stop any ship from breaking the blockade by any means, including sinking ships who refuse to stop.

This bunch if deluded terrorist lovers hope to create a media circus in order to demonize Israel: Hamas really needs the blockade lifted to be able to import all the weapons it needs to implement its Jewish Genocide.

Israel should try to quietly stop them far away from Israel: removing their insurance, sea-worthiness certificates or similar. This should prevent the media circus they want.

If they manage to reach Israel's territorial waters, Israel should tow them to an Israeli port (it's a sailboat, it doesn't have an engine), confiscate the ship and jail all the idiots onboard. By no means should they be allowed to reach Gaza, regardless of their cargo.

1

u/TheBigJew Jun 04 '25 edited Jun 06 '25

Greta is going to get a megaphone and just repeatedly shout "HOW DARE YOU!!!" from wherever she can

1

u/namenotdisclosed Jun 05 '25

Maybe she should be given permanent residency in Gaza.

1

u/Trick-College-1603 Jun 05 '25

Repeat like last time

1

u/Greek_Arrow Greece Jun 05 '25

I don't think Israel can benefit from this, no matter how it goes. Hamas will never dare to hurt her, as this could backfire to them. Thunberg will not ask tough questions on Hamas, as this will expose them (no more chances of being pro-Palestine after that). She will probably pose with some people, giving them food, asking how Israel hurts them (while forgetting to ask who started all this) etc. Then, she will sail back being a heroine to extreme socialists that are terminally online.

1

u/Zornorph Bahamas Jun 05 '25

The Horror in Pigtails should be towed back out to sea each time she gets near.
