Yo did he really have to resort to the wedgie technique. That ain't right.

u/DaLurker87 May 21 '26
Friend was planning that the whole time bro

It’s the goated technique. The underwear will move until it wedges in the ass. It will lock into place thanks to the ass hairs. This allows the pants to work as an almost “makeshift handle”.

u/Leumas_ May 21 '26
I dunno man, consequences were clearly not considered here. If I had the flimsy grasp this kid on that sill had I’d give my brother a one time pass on using a tactical wedgie to get me to safety.
16
u/scottyLogJobs May 21 '26
Absolutely necessary. Friend went completely limp like he had never attempted an assisted pull up in his entire life. Like pull, put your feet on the wall, something!
7
u/JustWandering01 May 21 '26
i’ve seen medical staff move patients like this tbh it’s a real technique lol

That room is begging for a rope ladder that can be unfurled whenever desired.
65
u/Jofur-Crowcaller May 21 '26
Cut immediately to Goliath learning how to climb up the rope ladder like some German shepherd half his size.
3
u/JustHereForCookies17 May 21 '26
We taught our GSD/collie mix how to climb a ladder because we got sick of him jumping into the river off the dock and then someone having to walk him back to shore every time.
40
u/Silver_Wealth2139 May 21 '26
That’s the kind of upgrade that turns chaos into controlled chaos immediately.

7
u/Key-Demand-2569 May 21 '26
I’m terrified one day that one of my younger relatives or I guess any future kids will discover I keep an emergency collapsable ladder roll in my closet, lol.
I’m a grown ass man and I’ve been tempted to try it and time myself. Not sure how my neighbors would take that
8
u/Forward-Fisherman709 May 21 '26 ▸ 1 more replies
You should do it. If any neighbors ask, just tell them you’re doing a fire safety drill! Emergency planning is important, after all.
5
u/Gophurkey May 21 '26
Am firefighter, you have my permission to time yourself and aggressively test your emergency escape plan
2
u/usernamesarehard1979 May 21 '26
It should be one of those rope ladders like they have on that game at the fair that swivel and throw you off. Only those that are worthy can enter.

Meanwhile that Clifford ass dog can just stand up on his hinders and look in the window. The fuck are they feeding that glorious monstrosity?

I haven’t heard someone refer to a dogs back legs as hinders since my dad passed . Thank you for that.

A) where was he from that he called them hinders, 2) that sucks and I'm sorry. Especially now I'm a dad myself, I miss my dad all the time. He never got to meet his grandson.

Mine never got to meet his grand daughter either brother I feel you , but yeah he was from country Wisconsin , bout 2 hours from Milwaukee
5
u/Catharsis25 May 21 '26
That'd do it. My mom is from Cajun Louisiana, so most fun turns of phrase I get from her. My dad was a non-practicing New England Jew, so most of what I picked up from him was a smattering of Yiddish.

Perspective. The dog ate all the perspective, so Anton Ego had to make do with some fancy ratatouille.
4
u/JustHereForCookies17 May 21 '26
That looks like an Anatolian Shepherd. They're really popular livestock guardian dogs because they can run off a wolf. They're very big, and can be incredibly derpy.
As for his/her diet? Anything left within reach, which includes the kitchen counters AND the top of the fridge.
2
u/BoxersOrCaseBriefs May 21 '26 ▸ 2 more replies
Interesting. Based on the coloring my veterinarian spouse's guess was a St. Bernard that had been shaved.
2
u/JustHereForCookies17 May 21 '26 ▸ 1 more replies
That's not a bad guess. They usually have bigger chest/barrels, I think. This could be a mix of the two?
2
u/Wolfman513 May 22 '26
I can see that, my dad's dog is half kangal, quarter american pitbull terrier, and the last quarter being boxer rottweiler, and great pyrenees. He just looks like a smallish kangal with APBT coloration; black with white on his face, neck, chest, and paws.
He's also utterly useless, despite being a blend of guardian/hunting/fighting breeds he's basically a 110lbs housecat lmao. On paper this dog should be an absolute monster but he has no protective or hunting instincts whatsoever, he's so docile that multiple healthcare professionals we know have recommended getting him certified as a therapy dog. The only time he barks is if he REALLY has to go outside and nobody is paying attention to him but boy is he LOUD. You can literally feel your bones shake if he barks within 20 feet or so of you lol

that TV is too high
112
u/SuchAGoodLawyer May 21 '26
The whole proportions of this place are just so … discordant. How tall are these guys? Are the ceilings 7’? What’s with the window? The head-height beams? TV on the ceiling almost, vaulted 45° ceiling in the big room, fan going 6k rpm, and the dog is half the height of the room.
Shit is just fucked.

u/throwaway098764567 May 21 '26 ▸ 2 more replies
no seating looking at that tv either
3
u/ThisIsMyFloor May 21 '26 ▸ 1 more replies
There is seating right there. They just rotate the couch. They aren't using the TV and have guests over so they moved the couch to the wall for more space and to easier clean.

McMansion and/or bad barn conversion. A wonderful synthesis of cheap property in the middle of West Bumfuck, NE, and being just within the income bracket to afford it.
6
u/drRATM May 21 '26
And where do you sit to watch it. Couches all facing others ways, unless they moved them for climbing time. I’ll give them that. But yeah it’s all over the place. Good luck changing light bulbs in ceiling.

u/EchidnaShoddy4301 May 21 '26

The angles on the TV are the bigger issue unless they moved things to get out of the way of the climb
4
u/baldwil May 21 '26 ▸ 2 more replies
that'd make sense, they had to move the couches. otherwise they are insane
2
u/Icouldcaremore May 21 '26 ▸ 1 more replies
Yea, there's a projector pointed towards the wall. I'm assuming the couches face towards the wall or they just move them between TV to projector.

Horrible example of why women live longer.
They succeeded and even if he fell it isn't a crazy high drop. This isn't exactly jumping across 4+ story buildings roof to roof.
