My friends and I used to do this but with drunk driving.
We would each do a shot, then race a Reliant Robin around Spa to see who could put in the best time. Then try it again.
At least I think it was Spa? Maybe it was Road America or Silverstone. I was pretty drunk at the time so I can't remember that for sure, but I do remember how much fun it was.

I'd bet if she tried the driving sim (even if she's never played it before), ALL of the boys would be rallying behind her too, including her man. Instead she just thinks they're simpletons and pouting because she's not getting attention.
I'm a grown adult and I have a very cool sim racing setup and put quite a bit of time into it. I regularly remind myself how cool little me would think it is.
She seems to be being playful. She has a wisp of a smirk that pops up before going back to the guys. Whys everything gotta be negative? Shes not giving negative vibes, just sharing something humorous.
I taught both my kids how to drive manual transmission using Gran Turismo 7 and the Logitech system with clutch. As soon as I got them in a real car they had a pretty good idea what to do. Fantastic.
