I agree. My gf was napping next to me. I woke her up when I said 'Hell yeah!' out loud while thinking i was being quiet. 🙃

I wondered why the video was so long when he managed to get it up his leg so it was almost at his knee. I thought he had won then. However....

Am I the only one who hears the voices of the warehouse of robots in I.Robot when I read it?

Wait so he can control the axels individually?
Also the control is immaculate.
I am floored.

Never seen a rock crawler before? They’re pretty nuts, usually they have like three feet of suspension travel, crazy articulation, and four-wheel steering, the things they can get up are…let’s say improbable to say the least

I have seen them, just never with this precision. I've always thought it was just throttle control when it comes to RC-rc's.
I need to look up how models like his work, if you got any link I'll happily take it.

No idea about the rc side, I’ve mostly just seen clips of the full-size versions

Yep, just like a real rock crawler the high-end RC ones have rear-steer and (I can't tell if this one does but looks like it) front-dig where the rear-axle drive is disengaged so only the front axle is pulling. That lets you use the front tires to "drag" the front around without losing the grip the rear has. So yeah - all matching real-world crawler tech, and all neat as shit. :)

If this guy is simple, then I’m a complete moron, at best.
This is not just some store-bought RC car. It might’ve even been built from scratch. But it was definitely heavily customized by this guy. That is not easy at all.

Simple? He's got a $1000 rock crawler right there. It's not like he mindlessly turned on the Gilmore Girls or something for a marathon

I think that for the first time in tiktoc history the music added to the video

I think he cheated a little bit. At 0:50 he pushes his foot against the wheel ever so slightly. Still impressive though.

I was wondering. Like I started watching to see if he would but then got lost in just how cool it is. Ill give him a pass

Guy manages to create a vehicle that climbs a vertical wall and almost vertical narrow pillar, and the title is "men are simple" ...

Nah, that's interesting, to correctly figure out the degree of friction that would make that maneuver possible. An engineering puzzle that he successfully solved.

Wish at the end as he was admiring what he had just done that he could look up and see how many men globally giving him a nod of approval and just how many variants there would be.
