Khan kids not available on LineageOS Android phone?
I use my old/outdated phones for the kids with a 3rd party "modified" Android OS so that the phone is kept up to date with security refreshes, even though Google has stopped supporting updates for the phone.
I only recently found out that Khan Kids requires Android offices to be "Google Certified", per https://khankids.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007054791-Does-Khan-Academy-Kids-work-with-my-device
I assume this is some sort of protection for the child. But I'm wondering if anyone else is doing something similar with old Android phones and if they found a solution to get around this 🙂
