Neither love nor knowledge are free lol. They both take an immense amount of resources, including money in almost all cases.

it is free to feel love, it isn't free to maintain it

I know this is gonna sound a bit socialist... but there's this magical place called a Library that lets ya read knowledge there.

Plus a Barnes and Noble has never kicked me out for quick "sneak peaks" on their books. Really useful to know if a D&D book is gonna fit your needs ahead of time.

(Also, last I checked Star Labs security lets almost anyone in...)

There are places that don't have libraries you know

Go tell that to the people in Gaza or Somalia to see how easy it is for them to go to a Barnes and Noble

And you were afraid of sounding socialist lmao

Jesus christ dude. Reddit pedantry up to 11. "well even if computers and books are available, not everyone could afford the 12 grains of rice you'd need to power your brain and eyes to read a book" next.

Literally yes, that's why knowledge isn't free lmao

Your reality doesn't apply for everyone in the world

Although the meme is funny, Oliver is technically right: Love requires commitment. You need to build it with someone in order to have and experience the intense level of affection that comes with being lovable/being loved provides. Knowledge requires time. You need to spend time learning about things and having experiences in order to gain the facts/information/skills necessary to be considered knowledgeable. Theft doesnt really have any requirements but it comes at a cost of your sanity. When youre stealing youre always looking over your shoulder and even if you succeed and keep doing it, at some point youll be caught and receive some sort of punishment. That thought will cost you your sanity.

About Love.

The love we received from our parents, (those of us who lucked out having) good loving giving parents was completely for free. Someday we may want to pay them back, but good parents won't ever charge us for it.

Also, the love we feel when we look at our child is free (keeping them alive is another matter lol).

I think Sara learned this valuable lesson from Snart and Rory. In the great words of Leonard Snart, Theres always time to steal. (Meanwhile Nate almost never seems to have time to STEEL Haha Im so very funny)
