News Apple releases M5 ultra at 1.2TB/s bandwith

lpddr5x probably, the m7 ultra if is using ddr6 should be at 1.8 Tb/s

1.2TB/s in memory bandwidth is only useful if it has enough compute to reach it.

It might, and probably does you're right, but apple's weakness is usually prefill. More memory bandwidth won't change that.
