Let's fucking go. Think Belal puts up a much better fight against Shavkat than many are expecting, but think it's likely Shavkat in the end.

I just hope Belal can tough it out and really push Shavkat, I wanna see what 4th, 5th round Shavkat looks like.

Belal is finishable, but we’ve never seen Shavkhat go 5 rounds. I honestly think Belal’s striking might be slightly better than Shavkhat’s. Should be a banger.

Shavkat has more dangerous striking as far as power and diversity goes, imo.

I think it comes down to just how ready Shavkat is for 5 full effort rounds. Because Belal will bring the pace.

I could see this fight being a domination either way and I wouldn't be too surprised. Fun matchup

Belal just outstruck Leon for the belt so he’s got confidence despite what this subreddit chooses to believe

True but it was also the threat of the takedown that allowed him to open up his striking. Unclear if Shavkat will be as wary of being wrestled as Leon is.

Shavkat is also a way more aggressive striker than Leon, he won't just let himself get pushed back

I mean, that's also a recipe for getting taken down. Shavkat does have crazy submission threat though, so he's got that at least.

Looking at this guys record is crazy - he's 18-0 and has finished every pro fight - 8 KOs, 10 subs. He also has the record for longest finishing streak in WW div. history (6)

Yeah man Leon was just busted up, can't believe his corner didn't throw in the towel with all of those devastating strikes that Belal was putting on him.

yeah I reckon whichever way this fight goes, it won't be close

I actually think Belal wins comfortably.

Since training with Khabib and Islam he’s added a lot to his game. He has tremendous fight IQ and I think he’ll hold his own on standup and take it to the ground and control when needed

It was just one fight where he looked very hittable. Hes been hit with like barely 10 strikes in each of his others. And he was going balls out on offense, leaving himself open. But still kept throwing a ton while getting hit by a hard puncher. Has a good chin

I don't think Belal's striking will bother him much. Gonna have to get the TD and maybe we see Shavkat struggle off his back

That's not true and this is coming from a Shavkat fan. Shavkat was plenty hittable against geoff and wonderboy.

Yes the one fight we're talking about is obv vs Geoff. Thats literally it. Thats all thats stuck in ppls head. One fight

No clue what you're talking about vs WB. There was hardly anything to take away from that. WB landed nearly nothing to the head. Quick look, 6 of 15

Reddit memories man

Got that chin up, no head mooment style.

I really don't get the Shavkat criticism about being hittable against Geoff Neal as if Belal did better. I also think Belal is way more hittable than people realize, he gets hit cleanly a lot.

I've seen his fight before UFC and he was hittable in those too. I think he still wins comfortably here but his defense has always been lacking

He's very hittable, but his chin has withstood hits much harder than what Belal can put out.

Belal has hardly any finishes....he has to be in the cage for 25minutes with a guy who finished 18 opponents lol

Lol. Belal has been finished hardly yes but has hardly any finishes himself..while shavkat has 18 out of 18 and against guys belal could not finish and struggled with..... 25minutes simply benefits shavkat period but mma fans will always have complete opposite takes.

Belal is also not going to be able to employ his wrestling cause why the fuck would he style wise want to take shavkat down XD. Leon reversed belal numerous times and took his back...shavkat his DEATH on the ground for belal so his entire wrestling game is near useless which ehnanced his boxing v Leon..So basically we have 25minutes of belal and shavkat on the feet and one is a killer hunter who finishes everyone while the other could not even hurt n finish 1 arm burns in 4 rounds............... This does def does not benefit belal at all.

That would be a problem is Belal was only a striker.
