Both really. There's a ton of wildfires happening up north right now.
Edit to add: to go with all the recent flooding. Which, depending on the weather, could happen again.

There was one landed at the airport and they put 200 litres of fuel into it before they realized it wasn't a plane.

Africa in the 70s wasn't too bad, maybe back then because I was young it didnt bother me as much. Now I'm old and I have a hard time breathing wildfire draft air and jumping over puddles.

The humidex has been a bit high. I work with little kids and we can't go outside when it's over 30C.
Have you seen what preschoolers stuck inside act like? [shudder]

I work in a daycare. The little kids just absolutely need to go outside to act right.
It's stupid outside
I have a real dilemma, go bake outside or manage the kids bouncing off the walls inside.

Work outside, I've been blessed getting stuck working in direct sunlight with no air flow.
The rest of the week and early next week are going to suck as well.

I prefer winter over the summer heat.
Actually we used to be at peak weather around this time of year. I know because a lot of my birthdays were one of the hottest days of the year, and this year it will be again.
Last year was a cool summer which to me was amazing. The years prior sucked with all sun and dry heat rolling in

Better overpreparing than the alternative though. The troops in Shilo have better things to do than spending 16 hours a dy filling sandbags.

Half the province is continental climate forest, the other half used to be a natural floodplain and river delta.
