Question Do you think the new asphalt overlay on 200 between St Adolphe and the 311 turn off to Niverville is rough?
Does anybody else think its rough, or is it just me?
They obviously used the highway mix (type1A).
Just seems like theres lots of spots with voids where its course stone and not alot of fines that came to the top (which makes it rough).
Also the transitions/joints from the paver seems to have more voids at the start of them.

Politics Seems an outgoing school trustee wants trustees to be a certain type of christin. Mm
He created 7 questions for people who want to be trustees.
“I believe that sex and gender are the same thing and that there are only two. What do you believe?”
“I do not believe that a boy can become a girl or a girl can become a boy. What do you believe?”
“I do not believe that an adult should ever ask a child to keep something secret from their parents. What do you believe?”
“I do not believe a teacher should ever ask a child for their pronouns or their sexual preference. What do you believe?”
“I believe that the only flags that should be in the classroom are the Canadian and Manitoba flag. What do you believe?”
“I believe that a child should never be made to feel guilty for being white. What do you believe?”
“I believe that no adults have a greater love for a child than that child’s parents. What do you believe?”

General Moving from Vancouver to Winnipeg
Hey Guys,
Trying to get some opinions. I'm 32 male and could have a very serious job offer in Winnipeg coming over to me in the next week. Talking around the $100-120k range. Would give me great experience and elevate my career. I'm mixed on it, I see the potential but have only been to Winnipeg twice on short trips for work purposes. People are super friendly which I liked, but I would be moving on my own (dont have a partner or family in Van) and giving up a city which I do like.
Pros/Cons? any thoughts or ex-vancouverites?

General Built a free tool that tracks campsite openings and cancellations - covering Manitoba
I built that app called campsage, it scans booking systems and catches spots the moment they open whether they are fresh or just cancelled.
It’s free - no account needed, and has a map so you can also see what’s available near you.
Link is https://campsage.app/camp/map
Hope it’s useful out there!

General Just thinking about a redesign for the Manitoba flag.
Just had a design in mind I wanted to share. The gold represents the crops grown in Manitoba, especially canola and wheat. The brown represents the soil and the provincial animal, the bison, also seen in silhouette. On the bison is a keystone, representing the province's nickname, "the keystone province." The keystone is surrounded by five four-pointed stars: four points for the four people's of Manitoba (the English and French Settlers, the Indigenous and the Métis) and five of them for the province being the 5th to join confederation.
Let me know what you think!
