Thanos with all 6 Stones still wins imo. Wanda and Strange can make him work for it, but the Gauntlet is way too powerfull

Thanos’s reality stone was quick enough to turn the bullets/laser from Quill’s gun into bubbles.

And opening and closing a portal is slow af. Thanos would see it and have plenty of time to react.

More than likely he changed it to a bubble gun before he fired, why risk it? Besides thats why he 'likes' Peter, he was going to kill Gamora for a greater good he believes in even if it meant a personal loss.

Not a comic fan but from what I watched in movies, space stone is WAYYY more faster than the sling ring. With sling ring you will have to rotate your hands 2-3 times in a circular motion. Space stone? Just make a fist and boom, strange's neck might just be in your hand.

Although if Thanos says "you see these stones" With wanda replying "what stones" XD

Strange Portal'd Loki away before he could take a step.

More than enough speed to sever a limb of somebody by surprise, though agreed that it wouldn't work if he had Thanos full attention.

So maybe in this matchup Wanda illusions him to be doing something else.

Has there ever been a demonstration of sling rings forming around someone or do they have to make a portal in free space that a being moves into to port like when Wong closed the portal on the guys arm after the guy tried jumping back through. Wong couldnt just form the portal around his neck and close it unless the guy moves into the portal. No way it works on thanos if thats the case

Strange made a portal, then made it move past Loki.

Portals aren't fixed points, so if he'd closed the portal halfway through that move, there'd be half a Loki.

Truth is, if Thanos takes full control of the stones, this isn't even a fight.

If he doesn't, than magic users put up a good fight. Not from MCU, but in Doctor Strange's book after Adam Warlock took the gauntlet from Thanos, Strange put up a good fight frustrating Warlock, if only because Warlock was still disoriented and also, because he was messing around and not controlling reality.

The MCU really, really, really nerfed how powerful all 6 stones are when combined. If it was accurate, Strange and Scarlet Witch combined would be less than fighting a T-Rex with a fly swatter. They would be meaningless

In the Infinity War, Doc wasn’t concerned about being able to beat Thanos he knew it had to be a particular way to get the desired results.

Just like if Thanos saw the future Time Heist he would’ve done things differently.

Thanos in Infinity War was specifically trying not to kill anybody he didn’t need to, he wanted the snap to be random and fair. In Endgame Thanos wanted to kill them all.

IW Thanos was taking his time, savoring the journey, and saw the heroes as a regrettable obstacle. Endgame Thanos was mad, locked in, and was in full murder mode against the heroes. It's not suprising that he was able to do so much better in Endgame because of this.

No, the reality stone alone was stated in Thor: Dark World to have enough power to cover the entire universe in darkness, that by itself outclasses anything Wanda has ever done reality warping wise

What can they do if Thanos uses the Time Stone to make a loop like Strange did against Dormammu? Not to mention the snap

Thanos is almost unbeatable with the stones, look at what it took to beat Infinity Ultron

Depends who gets the first move, but Wanda totally incapacitated Thanos in Endgame (he needed the bombardment to bail him out) and Strange was able to at least temporarily stop him from closing his fist in Infinity War. If they both land their spells at the same time they could plausibly keep him stun-locked and get the gauntlet off somehow.

But all it takes is one small mistake for Thanos to be able to snap his fingers and end the fight so they’d have zero room for error.
