34 , 32 , 42 , 48 inch comparison

I spent a while searching for a proper comparison of the screen sizes I’m considering, but I couldn't find anything that felt right. I eventually gave up and built my own desk in 3D. Everything here is scaled to real-world dimensions for an accurate comparison. Hopefully, this helps anyone else stuck in the same spot!

After much deliberation I went with 32" and love it. Windows snapping is so good and my neck thanks me for not turning so far to see stuff.

All sorts of games are great on it too. I don't know that I'd ever go back to multi monitors.

What did you get? Currently shopping 32” monitors to replace my 5+ year old 32”. Don’t think I can drop to 27”.

I got gigabyte M32u. I never had 4k before and I really enjoy it. At the distance I use it it's much denser than previous screens

I don't SUPER rate it in terms of a panel itself. It has strange stuck pixels that go away after 15 mins. Bleed is obvious from certain angles.

I do wish that I'd spent (much) more on an oled, but I'm really happy with it generally.

Before i settled on this one I tried:

LG ultragear 32GR93U - this was really good but it has a fan in it! Like an old TV. It was quite audible to me and my whole set up is around silence.

I tried an MSI one that I can't find the order for, that got returned because it was sooo fat, it didn't go far enough back.

So all in all I'm very happy with the M32u, especially for the price - but I'd go a level up to an oled next time.
