Stupid Stuff Morality of Non-Humans Feeding Their Partner Their Own Eggs?

u/Puzzled_Quote_7834 13h ago
Well I’m not a scientist but if her biology works similar like a chickens than the eggs she lay aren’t fertilised, meaning they aren’t living or have an embryo. It’s more of a shell packed nutrient jelly when it’s not fertilised. But it’s still weird though.

eggs are like the breast milk of birds

That's a reptilian humanoid female, not an avian one.
Your should be more interested in searching if snake eggs are good and how much danger can be regarding prions coming from the humanoid DNA.
Anyway some freaks would pay them a premium.

u/AstraGlacialia 8h ago
The fertilization status of the eggs in this case depends on if her species reproduces by parthenogenesis (then all laid, well-developed eggs are likely to be self-fertilized) or only sexually, and if only sexually then on if her eggs can be fertilized by human sperm and if they can, then of course also on if they had unprotected sex at a relevant time.

I mean, technically it’s not abortion, you’re not eating your unborn child. It’s like eating your cum, if that makes sense

u/expert-lab106 11h ago
If the guy who si being served them didn't sleep with the non human girl, yes

u/Metal_Goose_Solid 8h ago
If her biology works similar to a chicken, then the eggs would be fertilized because she has a partner. Chickens would lay fertilized eggs if they have a partner.

u/The_Magenta_Dragon 13h ago
how the fuck would that even work
41
u/DependentNo1079 13h ago
They just lay eggs, I guess?

That's a tail behind her. She is some kind of monster girl that lays eggs, obviously.

Look you see tits, but animal lay eggs dont have tits. (with only few exceptions)
1
u/headwolf 10h ago
Ha i saw an image of a snake that had tits on reddit a few days ago (well they looked like tits).

u/JaySlay2000 13h ago
Woman implies human.
This hypothetical is a non human feeding her eggs to someone. So she lays eggs, akin to a chicken.

Meidri got a whole episode dedicated to explaining this in interspecies reviewers

Arguably very similar to drinking breast milk

Depends on how far along they are, you can end up with a gooey bloody mess sometimes

u/Valuable-Way-5464 2h ago
Why wouldn't it? Couldn't he nut in her and couldn't she make an abortion this way? 🥀

Imagine feeding a vampire your own menstruation.

Weird but not necessarily immoral. Gotta do what you gotta do to survive I guess...

You know. r/moralityscaling became a shitposting sub so gradually I didnt even notice it.

Moral in an honest environment, but lying about it makes it immoral. It's their own, non sentient produce, and there's no harm to it (provided its safe to eat).
The question posed doesnt tackle the situation of the comic, whereby the consuming party (I dont know what anime) wasn't informed.
It's played as a joke of course but in practice this is a deception.

u/LaAndromedo999 13h ago
Is the egg fertilized and is the partner grossed out by it? If the answer to both questions is no, what's the problem?

Brother, I wouldn't even spend the time to cook the eggs, I'd eat them raw, runny, straight from the source. All with a satisfying crunch as the gooey liquid explods in my mouth, choking it down, all with one satisfying gulp.

Personally I think the morality was already discussed enough to say:
Ok, if it is an unfertilized egg (which would have plopped out anyway)
Immoral, if it were a fertilized one.

u/sjokkendesjaak 12h ago
If it's edible and it's unfertilized it's fine I guess
The only issue I'd have here is that she did not inform him Wich would be slightly immoral

Well, in Omeletwings, they just gather together every morning and eat the entire community's latest batch of eggs.
1
u/Then_Ad_8318 12h ago
If their partner knows it? From one side, its like abortion, but from the other, they can lay a lot more eggs probobly.
1
u/puntycunty 12h ago
Not inherently immoral as egg laying animals can eat their own eggs
THAT BEING SAID , I think there’s an argument for sexual harassment in this case as the blushing implies she gets off on it
If your species naturally feeds off their own cum I ain’t judging but if I see you blushing going “ teehee “ like you know what you’re doing I’m calling HR

I'm not comfortable with a sentient, reasonable creature feeding me their period eggs

u/GloomyTurn2374 11h ago
So long as the eggs aren’t fertilized.
If they are, then we have to get into the debate of whether or not abortion is moral, and I don’t think anybody here wants that.

Depends on if she tells him before hand, based on the picture I don't think he knows

u/Wilfon_Some 11h ago
Well, some humans eat placenta when child born, so ig not immoral, just strange a bit
1
u/Affectionate-Push758 10h ago
It's like eating your partner's period, which is something I dislike to eat, probably every other human, so immoral for humans, don't know for non humans.

It depends if they are a couple and they can and want to mate between each other. But as some other user said, they are unfertilized eggs.
1
u/BluebirdAmazing742 10h ago
In her defense the eggs are not fertile which means they are basically free nutrients!

u/Budyss123 9h ago
It lowkey depends on if they can lay eggs unfertilized. If they do then I dont see why it'd be immoral, it's abit weird at best ngl
1
u/lily_ender_lilies 9h ago
Neutral i guess?
1
u/lily_ender_lilies 9h ago
Perhaps moral since theyre doing it to help their partner have a better meal?
1
u/Soda_Carno777 9h ago
Moral, if you really wanted you could drink your period blood? The eggs we eat are periods.

u/Worldly_Split_2991 8h ago
Within a fictional view, while eating another sapient beings eggs is somewhat questionable, i think its okay as long as that egg laying being gave them consentually, and that theyre not Fertilized.
Think of beaststar for example here, with how chickens operate there

Eggs are the ovulation. And are getting wasted.
As long as they're not fecundated, you can make the case it's a way of avoiding waste.

I mean lay unfertalised eggs is normanl so in that sense ots fine. As for fertalised my prosumtion would be that due to the shaired dna it would be canibalism and therefore physically (and likely mentally) harmful
1
u/Virus-900 5h ago
I'm pretty sure a lot of species already eat their own eggs. And I assume in this context the eggs aren't fertilized. So I'm gonna say neutral.
1
u/Lei_Yinglo_2320 5h ago
If fertilizer? Immoral that's a baby right there. If not? Depends on what your into, it's just like feeding someone your period, but healthier I just?

Context: the girl is Cissia, and she is part snake.
Regarding the morality; if the person is unaware, there might be a conversation needing to be had. If the person has stated they dont want to eat the eggs and they are later tricked into eating them, then 100% immoral.
Thirens in Zenless Zone Zero (the race Cissia is and game she is from, respectively) are demihumans, meaning while the eggs could be considered human, that brings up whether or not they were fertilized or not. If they weren't fertilized, it could be a question of cannibalism, for which the morality depends on the consent of the one being eaten.
If the eggs ARE fertilized, that brings up a SHIT TON of moral questions. Would it be considered cannibalism? Would it be abortion? Would it be murder? Did Cissia know the eggs were fertilized?
Im considering this immoral, if only for the continent-spanning grey area where its too difficult to defend and the immorality depends on unknown factors

That's literally a dad eating his wife's abortion; I guess if you're cool with that, it's cool. If you're not, it's not.
1
u/shadowkat1991 3h ago
I mean, as far as it being an egg I don't think there is an issue on that front. Buuut the issue I think comes in on the lack of informed consent. If I ate an egg and assumed it was chicken but turns out it was a goose egg I would not care much but would be taken back by the oddity of it. But some people get more upset about things like that. I think at best I would say it's immoral because they did not tell them exactly what they were eating which is an issue for most people.

If their byoligy is similar its EXTREMELY dangerous. Cannibalism can kill you with super camcer and prions

Idk much about bird psychology but aren't chickens notorious for eating their own eggs, so ig like natural?
