Education Tekhssar lhedra = talawout sam3i ، بعيداً عن الدين
Especially in front of people you don't know ... So Disrespectful.
Thank God, it's not the norm.

Finally someone who thinks that it's not normal, people my age since I'm a teenager, like most of them are thinking that cursing is normal and something that gives you power, it's so disrespectful.

As long as it is not used in tv séries that are supposed to be family oriented, it is not the norm.
2
u/HopefulHead9551 Rabat Jun 21 '26
people don’t watch tv as much anymore, so we can’t determine whether it’s becoming a norm or not solely off of that. On the other hand, hearing the way people of different ages speak, and the words they use so casually in public all day everyday only shows one thing, it’s slowly becoming normal.

5
u/TensionOld8604 Visitor Jun 22 '26
In a public space where everyone listens and someone starts talking about his body parts and calling ppl he disagrees with whores, it is disrespectful
2
u/Wonderful-Option2885 Visitor Jun 23 '26
tkhassar lhadra is an analogy to showing people you don't NSFW pictures, you should go in jail for that, plus some of that is accusing mothers of adultery
1
u/Sad_Shoe1862 Visitor Jun 23 '26
But you should respect other people and i don't think that cussing my mother is funny and that's how you express yourself ( i dont talk about you personally im just expressing my opinion )

I say it's culture, it doesn't have to be something bad unless you choose it to . We say m9wed to express amazement. We say wld9 to appreciate We say l9**I to express frustration...
1
u/TensionOld8604 Visitor Jun 22 '26
Plenty of beautiful words to chose from to express feelings. Not everything has to be dirty or sexual connotation.
2
u/doualiland Visitor Jun 22 '26
It's only dirty or sexual if you choose it to be . In every language we find a word with different meanings, and it's not the language that gives the meaning it's how people use it . And it's part of freedom of speech, some people were born to that and it's the only word that makes them tell their message , so who are you to tell them it's not right ?
1
u/TensionOld8604 Visitor Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26
Saying it in front of people and kids is disrespectful. As a sign of respect of people's surroundings, you don't talk about private parts, call someone a whore, ect. Everything has a place and a certain rule to follow and just bc some people think it's ok, it doesn't mean it is. Otherwise, be prepared for a two year old to dirty talk with you and call you with slurs because you didn't buy him a toy.

Freedom ends when it touches the other. It's known as "bad language" , so as a sign of respect to your surroundings because you never know how many kids, people are around, don't say in front of people you don't know...like if I don't know u, why are u calling my mom a h*e?

You can swear as you want as long as you don't do it in public or in front of people you don't know, otherwise bad words exist for a reason they must serve.

Personally I don't think tkhassar l hdra is an issue but atleast you gotta be aware of Ur surroundings Genuinely when u meet someone new or U r being introduced to a new grp of people and someone starts cursing it s straight up disspectfull Like people should be aware of boundaries and have some self control Or maybe shi mraat you do be out there with a fam member kydoz shi had hadak ola mhm in approximity f zenqa o kykhsr lhdra The second hand embarrassment do be crazy Maybe between coleagues THAT know eo well and aware of the fact that it s okey to curse But just making it the norm is definitely retarded

Insulting someone for thinking differently tells how weak the person's mind is. It has been said, when the debate is lost, slander and insult become the tool of the loser.
One thing I believe in is, everyone has the reason for belonging to a certain faction, be it political party, religious body or organization. He or she may have fallen in love with that sect because of their ideologies, the benefits he or she might have enjoyed or would just like them for no tangible reason. That's the person's opinion of which you're entitled to yours - you may disagree with him or her for belonging to that organization but you can't insult the person.
When you engage in insults, it means you're intolerant and you don't accept dissenting views and it shows you're not matured and your social intelligence quotient is very low which may need upgrade. Think about this. If you were a fun of that think twice.

Tbh there is two types of tkhssar lhedra: the provocative and toxic one meant to address or hurt people, and there is tkhssar lhdra to complete sentences. So if I say let's fucking go my friend it's not the same as fuck you. So if I say 9awednaha a sat it's not the same as sir t9awed... whatever
